Mid round pick. I’m not as excited as you are. Just more re-arranging the deck chairs on the titanic.
It’s not franchise changing by any means, but glad we’re adding talent with good business rather than splurging on FA
What are we giving up? I can't see Jack Parkman 's tweets as twitter is blocked at work. I'm not as crazy about. He's had a lot of injuries lately and carries a cap hit of about 12 mil a year on average the next three years. But we can cut him for pretty much nothing next year if he doesn't pan out, or ask him to rework the deal. Depending on what we gave up, it could be low risk, high reward.
Wonder what we are going to do with sorry ass Andre Branch who would cost us almost 12 mil in dead cap to cut
Hmmm this is kinda weird but I like the player. We moving on from Suh? Hope not, he’s our best player. Fuck that Branch deal...though he will be cut after next year
The Miami Herald's Armando Salguero reports the Dolphins like LSU RB Derrius Guice "a lot." Guice turned in a solid combine, running the 40-yard dash in 4.49 seconds and recording a 31.5-inch vertical jump. Guice racked up over 3,000 rushing yards (6.5 YPC) in his time at LSU despite splitting time with Leonard Fournette for 2-of-3 seasons. The Dolphins interest in Guice leaves us questioning their comfort with Kenyan Drake as a workhorse back. Source: Armando Salguero on Twitter
I’d be way into Guice if we could get him in the second. Seeing a lot of people bowing out on Landry trade
Reading the whole quote I think he meant to say its not a great sports town based on on field results. (he brings up the Marlins not winning). But yea people will latch on to that. Really though thats like the 74th most objectionable thing in the story. "I like Donald" is way, way worse.
lol fuck this out of town piece of shit. and he wonders why Miami-Dade county is sick of the dolphins
Matt millers post combine 7 round mock 11. The Pick: QB Josh Rosen, UCLA A few things that I believe: 1. Rosen will go higher than this on draft day, likely in a trade-up. 2. The Dolphins are all-in on investigating these quarterbacks and seeing if there is a successor to Ryan Tannehill here. If Rosen is on the board at No. 11, the Dolphins shouldn't hesitate to draft him. Rosen's mechanics and touch are the best of any quarterback in this class, but there is the issue that some teams may find him brash and hard to deal with. Whether or not Miami feels that way remains to be seen, but this is a franchise doing serious work on quarterbacks. Given Tannehill's injury history and bloated contract, it makes sense that the Dolphins would be willing to move on. 42. Miami Dolphins—Carlton Davis CB Auburn 73. Miami Dolphins—Jerome Baker LB Ohio State 111. Miami Dolphins—Anthony Miller WR Memphis 130. Miami Dolphins—Royce Freeman RB Oregon 183. Miami Dolphins—Tyler Conklin TE Central Michigan 223. So, my dad was a Dolphins fan. Well, he was a Marino fan. Jax didn't have a team for most of his career, so that wasn't abnormal. Anyway, about 15 years ago, he got a pennant signed by Don Shula. When he(my dad, not Shula...who I'm p sure is still kickin') passed away 10 years ago, it was one of the many sports memorabilia that got packed up. I'm not a Dolphins fan, but I'm also not going to just toss, so I thought I'd see if one of you fuckers might want. Or maybe one of your dads. Shit, I dunno. If no one does, it'll just get folded up and put back in a storage box, but I thought it might be of more value to someone else that cares about the team. If you're interested, just pm me and I'll drop it a padded envelope and send it you. Ignore the dog. Yes, he's alive.
pm me your address, and I'll drop it in the mail this week. Or if you have jigga's address, we can meet up, I'll give you the pennant, and then we can go do mean things to his house. Because fuck that guy.
