I’m watching 5 games at once and have a keg of beer within 10 feet of my couch. I’m pretty drunk. It’s 2:45 and games go until 2am today. I fucking love college football saturdays
Alabama fans being exactly the trash you expect is awesome. Although one did order an americano which threw me off.
In order of most likely to beat us to least: Memphis USF Navy Pitt Cincy UNC FAU Temple ECU SMU SCST After Pitt I'd say no one is higher than 10%
From the "Buy/Sell" article on ESPN - BUY: Boise State as the best of the Group of 5 The Broncos traveled 2,200 miles to face the defending Sun Belt champions, and it was never close. Boise State hung 56 on Troy, an astonishing figure given that the Trojans didn't allow more than 21 to any opponent at home last year. And while Boise State looked dominant, some of the other big names in the Group of 5 -- FAU, Houston, San Diego State -- struggled. So while there's still a long way to go, we're looking forward to some guy from Boise hiring a plane to fly a "Co-National Champs" banner over Alabama's opener in 2019.
Am i delusional to think UCF hitting the 27-0 mark over 2 seasons would matter in the eyes of the CFP committee?
The undefeated season comes down to 5 games. Pitt Memphis USF Confrence Championship Game National Championship Peach Bowl
won't matter at all, even though a lot of people said last year that it would. They will use our SoS against us again. As a UCF pessimist, I predict we will have a very hard time even getting the access bowl this year. If Boise is as good as advertised and we both end up undefeated or with one loss, I think it will present another chance for all the powerful people of college football to punish us for our sin of claiming a national championship and put Boise in ahead.
UCONN tried to play ball control and they were actually very successful. They had the ball almost twice as long as we did 39min-21min. I'm not sure if that's is going to be the strat against us all year but I would guess so.
lol at this. Troy graduated their entire DL. They are projected to be 78th best team in America this year.
National media is used to the G5 being very up and down, where there is a new best of the rest every year. Only a few have realized that the major reasons we had an incredible 2017 are back, and with an undefeated season under their belt. It’s a fair question to wonder how a new staff will do, but you have to go through some big mental hurdles to not think that Milton and this offense are going to absolutely destroy the American. Ucf fans knew what this program could be once we ditched GOL, and credit to Danny White for the homerun hire in SF and hopefully another in Heup. We just have too many built in advantages over other G5 programs to make excuses for not being at or near the top
^ a lot of that was driven from listening to PMT this morning that had Andy Staples from Thursday. When asked about UCF he diverted the convo to USF saying they will be the team to watch because they have Charlie Strong and we have a first year coach. That is just a wild take on so many levels.
#1 in the poll that matters 1. UCF. Champs stay champs by defeating bitter rivals UConn 56-17. HAIL. https://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2018/9/2/17810984/college-football-rankings-week-1-2018
Memphis will have no idea how good they are or anything before us. At least they should be undefeated and maybe ranked. Navy Ga St S Alabama Tulane UConn That is a joke schedule.
So Michigan and either Va Tech/Miami will each have a loss and sit a few spots ahead of us. I full expect us to remain 21.
