Maybe I’m just not that vain but it’s never bothered me. Really isn’t worse than being tethered to your phone by a long white cable.
then I could see going to the R if you have a X I wouldn't recommend it bc going down fro oled screen to lcd would be awful
The Apple Lighting to USBc cable (I read the only one that can carry the charge right now) and the Anker charger
I like the AirPods, but they seem to amplify ambient noise, instead of even remotely blocking it. Have no clue why Apple can’t figure out how to put some sort of foam tips or something on these.
Do I understand this correctly? The AirPods have a charge and then the case can charge them. Then you charge the case? I’ve had them on most of the day and am down to 34%.
Yes. The airpods charge whenever in the case. Case can charge them over a bunch of times, charge case with lighting cable. You can see the battery of the pods and of the case on the battery section when you swipe left. They come with headphones that plug into lighting cable, and you can buy a dongle which adapts lighting to headphone jack, but yes wireless is preferred.
Need to use the ear buds given with the phone that has a lightning port or buy the converter to go from lightning to aux jack.
If you normally use the apple ear buds then just use the new set. If you lose it is when it's a pain in the ass because you can't use your old ones without the converter. Other option is to buy wireless ear buds. I went with the air pods just because it was super easy.
Factory reset on my Apple TV didn't make matters better so I just admitted defeat and went out and got a Roku Express. Does everything I ever used the Apple TV for anyways and comes at a fraction of the cost.
So wait you have to use the Apple usb c cord to get max fast charge? What about the charging port or can you use a different one?
I liked Roku until I found out how much stuff you could download on the Firestick/FireTV to watch TV shows/movies/live TV. I don't see why anyone would get anything other than an Amazon product to stream stuff now.
Agreed and I buy all movies on amazon firetv so it moves with me. If I used Comcast then switched to directv you lose all the movies
I have a fire stick but hate the UI. Only use it for Kodi/Terrarium/etc. For the legal streaming apps I much prefer Apple TV or Roku
I’ve had an Apple TV, firestick, chrome cast and Roku. Use the Roku on any of my main TVs for general television watching. Crashes and freezes less. Use firestick for kodi.
They add another couple hours of play time in like 5 minutes though. I was surprised how quickly they charge.
At least I'm not the only person who has owned all four. I can see the benefits of all, but Fire TV is definitely the most versatile. Apple TV UI is best. Roku has the best combo of UI and usability. Chromcast is useless for me, hate using my phone as the remote controller.
Case holds a lot of charge. One AirPod was probably at 25% and it got to 100 on only 10% of the case charge. I think my only complaint is no volume control.
I buy movies for my kid through iTunes so I feel beholden to apple tv. Im sure thats a real dumb way to do stuff but Im not a hack8r.
I don't know how it works. You're stealing stuff right? But just the movie version of Limewire/Napster?
