Good morning iFags. Someone please tell me how to use my 27 inch Thunderbolt monitor on a non-apple machine.
So laughable that Apple is finally creating a modular home screen instead of just rows of icons for apps. Welcome to 2007. Google>Apple
Was team Apple for a long time. Sick of it now, though. This iPhone 5 will be the end of the line for me.
I'm all for you giving me a link to those. I can find plenty of HDMI "in" to TB "out", but I cant find a single item that has a TB in/female to HDMI/DVI/etc out adapter
Let me find the one that I got, I'll post it in a second. My boss and I both have these $1000 apple monitors that we can't use. Really annoying. I think our CIO bought them for us as a carrot to get us over to the MAC side.
They're probably retina, which are awesome TBH. However proprietary cables and connectors are bullshit, there probably retina, which are awesome TBH. However proprietary cables and connectors are bullshit, I wish Intel would've never sold that technology out to Apple, and just made it into a new version of FireWire cable as a cross-platform.
what i learned from this post -they're probably retina, which are awesome -however, proprietary cables and connectors are bullshit
That is completely false, just not common with some companies. Try updating your drivers. However that probably won't work because Windows never works right.
couldn't imagine being in a dark enough place in life to actually think getting a phone other than an iPhone is a good idea. Ts & Ps to you guys
gonna go get some sort of macbook tonight. dont need anything top op the line. just a nice reliable laptop that works with all of our other apple gear. thoughts?
If you are using it for work related things or will need to view spreadsheets you need a 15". Also something to keep in mind is that the RAM is soldered in there. So it might be fine for now but 3-4 years down the road when it doesnt suffice you cannot upgrade.
i hear ya. we wouldnt upgrade anyway, we would just buy a new one. we will have very limited use other than pictures, word docs, spreadsheets, videos, and internet. you think the 15" with the lowest amount of storage space and ram would suffice?
just make sure you get 8gb ram then you need to decide on HD size for what you want if you are in between 2 sizes always go with the larger one
13" for pics and docs is perfect. I use mine for about 10 hours a day and do extensive spreadsheet work. I bought a 13" and had to return it due to not being able to multitask as easily.
Looking to buy a 13" MacBook Air. Obviously looking for the best deal possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Just checked the site and they still have the same deal available. I'm a little bit skeptical though.
I bought it through Apple's website. if you're skeptical about Apple's website then idk what to tell you
gotcha. works and looks brand new, saved a couple hundred bucks and it comes with a warranty in case there's an issue. didn't seem like any downside to me
