Does anyone have a rec on cheap noise cancelling headphones? Was thinking they might help me tune things out on flights.
I’m very happy with my Sony h.ear headphones that I got last year. They were about 250, so not quite that cheap, but they’re cheaper than Bose headphones and the noise canceling on flights is incredible.
Need a duffle bag that would be at home whether used for gym clothes that or an overnight trip Opinion on Herschel supply?
I have a Herschel and use it for some overnight trips, but its a heavy bag. I wouldn't use it for the gym. Favorite duffel is Adidas Santiago.
I have always been a huge fan of Under Armour's baselayers. I recently became a big fan of their cold weather hoodies/sweatshirts. I have been really impressed with the qualify of their products after preferring Adidas Climawarm and Nike ThermaFit stuff for years Storm Daytona 1/2 Zip ColdGear Infrared Fleece 1/4 Zip both sooo comfy Spoiler
Going to be glad when I leave this school I can finally start wearing/buying Under Armour again. Really like the products they are putting out these days. We went Nike this summer and I can't wear any competitor clothes or shoes while I'm at work, not even on the walk from the car to the office.
I was hesitant when ND made the move as far as fan stuff goes. I liked my Adidas stuff. UA blows them out of the water imo, I have everything from heatgear to coldgear to storm 3 stuff and it is all great. A few of the cheaper pieces I bought only lasted a couple years but everything else has been awesome. It's kind of embarrassing how much of their stuff I have.
Dewalt istough to beat for name recognition. Rigid, however, warranties their batteries for life. If they no longer make a compatible battery they replace the tool too. You just have to remember to register the product. Milwaukee makes solid stuff too, but I think their keystone product line is their saws more so than drills. Unless you want to spend Festool money and it’s for hobbyist use it’s hard to find a bad one these days if you stick to the well known brands.
Yeah i think unless you're about to become a contractor, you should be fine with anything better than Rigid
I have had a black and decker since 2015 and haven't had to charge it once after the first time. I've always been amazed at that.
I was just reading through this Home Depot Slickdeals thread. I’d just be using the stuff around the house. Looks like there are a ton of options. https://slickdeals.net/f/12167626-p...-from-149-free-shipping?src=SiteSearchV2Algo1
Got these for Lil Bishop since Google Home now interacts with the story while reading. https://techcrunch.com/2018/10/29/g...ttle-golden-books-that-work-with-google-home/ For me
Does anyone own a receipt scanner that they would suggest? Needing to get one for the house/business.
I have the Ryobi One+ drill and a bunch of other shit that works with the batteries. I've been very pleased.
Anyone have recommendations on those damn robot aliens vacuum cleaners? Roomba still leader in the clubhouse, or have other brands caught up/cheaper?
dont worry the robots are so shitty at vacuuming they might be 1000 years away from being able to compete with humans for this chore
Manually sucking is still going to happen, guys. No person or robot will ever take that away from me. But with two cats and a dog (possibly another on the way in a few months), a robot can help alleviate the amount of times it is necessary.
I have had a roomba for a little over a year and am very happy with it. No pets, but it always surprises me how much dirt/dust it collects just running 3 days a week.
