I don't know if it really is or they just know it bothers some people with the whole C.Florida thing.
When they first started it, UCiF was actually a pretty good nickname for us. At this point, it's pretty weak and doesn't make much sense anymore, but the "C." thing is just dumb and not funny.

tables turned he'd act the same way we do about plancher. personally i don't know whole story, i think it was probably negligence and oleary being a dick about water but we had the lawsuit, justice was completed, and we moved on. only remnant of all that is a statue for oleary. everyone else is gone. and it was all built since then not during then. if leavitt was still there they'd probably be better off, but he had a more direct impact on what happened considering he did the choking or whatever himself.
I honestly don’t even like being compared to USF even though I get why we do from afar. In 2007 I went to UCF and even then the school was bursting with pride. Sure you had the idiots that wore UF stuff, but it was still largely UCF. Today everywhere in Orlando you see UCF everywhere from licenses plates, flags in bars, clothes, etc. I’ve been in St Pete and Tampa since Thursday and seen maybe 5 things related to USF.
I hate that he has a statue. Not because of anything negative that happened or how he left. I can agree that he should have been honored somehow for the good he did for the program. I just think the statue is fucking stupid

Yeah that makes even less sense. If would be a way better argument to point to Keith Tribble and Kevin Ware’s recruitment, etc but they can’t because we cleaned house of all that.

I have lived in Indiana for 6 years now. I have always worn UCF hats. I got comments on it from alums or relatives of alums periodically, maybe like once or twice every 3 months. I can't go out anymore without people wanting to talk to me about UCF. Every single weekend at every sports bar I go to. It's actually incredible how much of a difference Danny White has made.
Yea, unless something changes significantly with Dawkins' recruiting, we're about to tank in this conference after this season. We absolutely have to make it to the tournament and make a deep'ish run to have any hope of turning this program into something.

The thing is, it's not even total chaos. It's 2 reasonable 50/50 outcomes and one upset. I think they made it look more chaotic than it needed to be.
I think it is 3 50/50 losses and 1 upset. We really do need the Aggies to win over LSU, which I think is very likely as well. Just to take those folks like Galloway off their 2 loss resume high horse. LSU IS 2 spots above us.
