I like Neal Brown but Troy is a pretty damn solid program to begin with in terms of the local talent they’re able to acquire
Holtz has a Pelini-esque record at Louisiana Tech I can understand why that kind of consistency is alluring
Its seemed that Tubs never trusted him in lbk either, and wouldn't let him run the full air raid Or at least that's what all the tech fans that wanted to hire him in both 2013 and 2018
I agree with this, but the end of the Blakeney era was very messy and Brown got them back on the right track. The best season in Blakeney's last four years was 6-6 and even with all his accomplishments, he never got them to 10 wins.
Thread is relevant to my life --- I rode up an elevator with him last week on a work trip while the Trojans were in Mobile for the Dollar General Bowl.
Didn’t speak but had the body language of a man who was about ready to get the fuck out of Troy, AL to take a P5 job
according to the op, brown should be named by end of week. how are we defining the week? end of the work week? end of the calendar week? end of the weekend? or a week from tuesday? thanks big fan of your work i'll take the answer off air
I am curious why Norvell at Memphis is still not getting looked at? I know there were rumors last year but thought they were rumors.
Update: I’m being told there’s a team meeting on Sunday so the hope is to have the new hire here by then.
