Wonder what happened here. I really don't want deal with this dickhead for another season (we play alabama state this year)
It’s definitely a step backwards. But at the very least they need to make their rulings consistent. Some guys getting waivers and others not in very similar situations is maddening
Q: Are you a big name recruit going to play for a major program? Enjoy your waiver. Q: Are you a smaller recruit who has a sick family member in aid of help? Fuck you.
It makes even less sense than that imo. Some Ohio State guard was eligible immediately at Duke last year. Hell we had two guys transfer in at the same time, one a Florida kid who was at southern Cal and a former top 100 player who was ruled ineligible. The other a South Carolina kid who said he was moving closer to home (he was by like 1.5 hours or so instead of 3k miles like the other guy), he was eligible
Lol yeah it's kind of bullshit that Fields was allowed to play but some kid was trying to transfer to Illinois because a family member was dying and he got rejected but :netsfangif:
The Ohio State transfer to Duke was Jack Wohlabaugh. He gained immediate eligibility because he had two years with a high GPA and had a basis to transfer based upon the degree he will pursue at Duke. At least, that’s what we were told.
Doesn’t want to play safety and that’s where we want him Also prob didn’t like getting beat out by a WR at corner
Don’t think so. He played situationally last year and I don’t remember him getting shit on or anything
He just not a good fit at CB hence the move to safety or you guys just need more help at safety than CB and he drew the short straw to move over?
He got beat out at CB by Derion Kendrick in the space of about 3 practices. With some of the other young talent in the program, his best bet for future PT for us was at S. Believe he will end up at Georgia Tech.
