Just catching up on this thread and hadn’t even received a news alert about the shooting yet. That speaks volumes for how many of these things we have to endure as a country. Fuck white nationalism. Trump is breeding domestic terrorists and young, white males are the most hateful and dangerous group in this country’s history. ISIS ain’t shit to us.
Hell I'm just now reading about the coal miners in Kentucky whose paychecks bounced. They're wanting help from Trump.
yes she was one of the earliest bans on twitter from the islamophobe right wingers when they finally decided to start policing that
Interesting gossip today. Take it with a grain of salt, but I do trust her as a source. My sister used to be an executive director in HR at Goldman. In other words she was one of the top HR people in all of Goldman. She actually quit and sued them for sexual discrimination about five years back. Anyway I was with her this weekend and she told me a little bit about Cohen and Mnuchin. She said both were known as slimy while they were there and many woman had to be paid off based upon the way they interacted with various female employees. She said Mnuchin was much more hated and was known as an aloof asshole. I guess it is pretty much what you see is what you get and they were perfect for this admin.
Yes, and she's been endorsed by the asshole Congressman whose ENTIRE family ran a campaign ad against him.
Oh, damn, Cardinal Newman, that's my neck of the woods. That's a textbook sandhills clayeater right there. I bet you my left nut he lives in Wildwood.
Need some help. What's the most unbiased source that has a run down of all POTUS candidates' positions? I looked on AP but couldn't find a summary. Wife and I are having an exciting Saturday night discussing the 2020 election. Lyrtch
politico can suck on some stuff but i imagine this isn't bad, if probably more in depth than you want https://www.politico.com/2020-election/candidates-views-on-the-issues/
Appreciate it. And yea more in depth than we probably need but we can go to the issues that are most important to us.
https://www.isidewith.com/ Do this quiz. Each category has a button that brings up more questions, do that for each one. It'll match your views with the candidates and show their positions.
I tend to lean towards on the issues as they cite everything right there, but i think they're updating their websites or some shit so i'm not 100% this is their main site but it looks good. it's easier to use for individual candidate overviews (probably 5-6 years ago did the same just political review with the wife) http://www.issues2000.org/default.htm
I'll look for it again but I think i found a vox (or something like that} article that did a good job of comparing and contrasting policies released thus far. Most have nothing on paper yet.
(this is in no way to shit on you) isn't it weird how you take one of these things and then realize how little you actually have in common with a party you voted for your entire life?
oh I know you did, that's why I said the first part I had my parents do a similar test in 2016 and they didn't know they weren't aligned at all with republicans like they thought they were
i've been behind on this thread so may have missed this but they took away the press credential of the dude who Gorka was yelling at
CBP issued a statement that they wouldn't target victims of the tragedy today. Sad times that the general assumption is that they would.
By the way, 3 Mexican citizens died today and 6 were injured in the white supremacist attack. Trump only offered condolences specifically to the Texas victims.
It's the 214th/215th day of the year, there's been 250 mass shootings this year in the US, yes there's more than one on average per day. Fucking sad times.
