I’m going to need to tweak my sensitivity settings because it felt a bit choppy at times. It feels jumpy as hell in ADS but I’m not sure if that is more me being tired as shit when I played last night or something else.
I love the gunplay but I was getting heated at the mantling last night. Felt like I should be able to mantle up to certain things and it wouldn’t let me.
I was playing a little bit of the pre-sequel, and it was so dumb having to hold a button to pick up things from crates.
In my usual rut where I play a character than want to try another and another, and end up burning out on the start of the game. Once I settle I'll be fine, but wasting a lot of time that could be spent progressing.
If it helps my PC isn't crazy, I built it 4 years ago and haven't upgraded a single part and it's running the game flawlessly. 0 issues so far.
Downloading now on PS4. Jhawk38. Play with me and listen to me ramble about stuff while trying to keep my wife and dog quiet.
Picked Zane to start out. Couldn’t decide who I wanted so I told the names to my 5 yr old and that’s who she picked. I’ve got to remember about sliding and being able to knock barrels now. Going to take a little while also to get use to the layout and display but love the feel of it so far. Can’t wait to learn what guns do what as I progress. That moment the first legendary drops is going to be glorious.
Yeah, it feels like you have to be directly lined up with whatever the next level of thing you are jumping on and then jump as high as possible. I think they should have done what D2 did with mantling and just be like, “eh, close enough”.
What's everyone's strategy with accepting guns from the social mailbox? I think it scales with the rank. Any I need to wait for a high level to accept?
So I’m about to delete the game because clap trap keeps telling me to get up real high and jump on something that I’m not doing.
Is it for that quest where you collect his antena and stuff? Just go up the hill and jump down, there's a button you press and it does an attack. On the xbox controller it's like the B button I think to land on the trap door and open it? The right button idk. Hey question, haven't played bl2 fully in a while. Is it necessary to find every little thing in the normal playthrough or save it for TVHM? Like when I move on, will it always be an eyesore somewhere that I missed shit in normal? Lol
The game in general is in pretty bad technical state rn and it’s either hilarious or infuriating for me but I won’t truly know until I play it soberer. Also, with these quality of life improvement and fast travel additions and what not there’s two really big things that annoy me. Why I can’t I fast travel to map transition I’ve been to previously? Why is there not an option to leave your game open to friends only?
Yeah I’m done. I have no idea what the fuck he’s talking about and trying to do other missions and he won’t stop with the same voiceover so I’m out. There is nothing even in my mission log for him
The mission is called “Bad Reception”. The spot you need to go is old laundry and you’ll find a cellar door type thing that you have to ground-pound. Climb up the hill just a little left of the door (if you are facing the mountain). Jump down and press O while falling on the door and you’ve done it
I’m still having fun and I’m sure gearbox will address these complaints. At least the technical stuff anyway. Idk what they can do about Hoss’s claptrap problem tho
I've honestly not really had any issues on pc, just playing slow. Kinda want to speed it up and get thru this first playthrough before I get spoiled lol my ocd is making me complete out entire maps though. And I cant get anyone on the discord for BL to answer a question.
