Anyone ever had an issue with the left shift key not working on their macbook air? I've tried all the things I've found online and it still isn't working. Super annoying.

When did you buy it? I had a similar issue with mine (purchased in November 2016). There was some known issue with them and they replaced the keyboard for free.

 

Anyone have vacuum recs? I've got a wife, two cats and a dog. Hair and fur fucking everywhere and impossible to get out of the carpet. Looking at the Dyson Ball Animal 2 or Shark AZ1002

Speaking of running shoes, pet peeve of mine is people who wear their running shoes as their everyday sneakers, or wear them with jeans.
