It’s kitted out for our CAD people but I asked IT to remove CAD. Bentley puts some creepy spyware on our machines and we get a discounted license fee. I do run some VMs tho. Might make a VM and put some video games on it for travel gaming.
I just bought a used high powered gaming computer for like 800 bucks and it's been a great purchase. Lots of guys will build one and then sell it 6 months later just to build another.
Bought a beersby set for the backyard today off amazon for like $30. Should go over well during football season. Also great for the beach.
I found the computer you were looking at on Costco, it's windows home, but that shouldn't cost too much to upgrade to 10pro. You lost me on this spot though, it looks like this one only has 1 HDMI port, while the one for $70 or so more has a VGA and HDMI. All my employees run dual monitors, can I run that on one HDMI port, or would I need to get the one with 1 VGA and 1 HDMI and just get an adapter so each computer is running 1 monitor on each port. The cheaper computer also has a SSD whereas the more expensive one doesn't. That doesn't make sense to me at all.
https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/del...3670-desktop/ndgmbmcr619s?view=configurations Here is a very similar system direct from Dell with both VGA and HDMI. I would be suprised if that Costco system didn't have a VGA as well, may just not have been stated.
I'm tired of shopping at this point. I'm going to find flaws in anything I find in my budget. I've come to terms with this ( I think ): $680 https://www.newegg.com/charcoal-bla...stream/p/N82E16834316759?item=N82E16834316759 Intel Core i7 8th Gen 8565U (1.80 GHz) 8 GB Memory RAM 512 GB SSD NVIDIA GeForce MX250 1920 x 1080 Windows 10 Home 64-bit Max Memory Supported 20 GB (4 GB onboard + 16 GB x 1)
New work laptop is here Lenovo ThinkPad P52 i7-8850H 64GB RAM Win10 64-bit Nvidia Quadro P2000 1TB Samsung SSD It's a beast.
Picking it up today. The MFers are giving me the Pimp My Ride bullshit and stopped sending me picture updates so they have something to "present".
Yes, plan is now to take it to every game but Syracuse and playoffs. I made all 15 games in person last year and god willing will do the same this year. I say that and then I peep this video on one of the workers instagram pages.....
I dont think there is a better deal for TVs as it pertains to the model. That said, if you have some time to wait, they do go on sale periodically. Wife just picked up a 43 for work for $199 off Amazon. That was cheaper than Target or Walmart. We did get two for the house 65 and 55 that were on sale at Target a few months back (4th July sale) that were hundreds of dollars cheaper than Amazon or Walmart. I honestly don't know the reasons or times for the variation in pricing.
So looks like one of each? I have TB3 as well. I'm looking forward to years of compatibility with my Dell WD19TB compared to my old mid tier Dell dock. If you have nice peripherals, for instance I have 2x 27" 1440p, it's a dream setup.
The rule of thumb is that manufacturers release new TVs in January and they hit shelves loosely in the April timeframe. Generally speaking, previous year models and closeouts will be much more susceptible to big price reductions than the current year. But there are exceptions to that. For instance this year, TV market analysts said that manufacturers were stockpiling TVs due to expected impact of China tariffs that (to my knowledge) have still not come, so current year models (at least this year) are seeing markdowns not normally seen. Best piece of advice I can give is to add CamelCamelCamel browser extension and view the price history on Amazon. Bonus item: go to https://slickdeals.net/tv-deals/ and search for the model you are considering.
It takes two of the rectangle power inputs and has an umbilical to the laptop that connects in that recessed area. I have two 28" 4K monitors I'm gonna hook up to it.
Sorry for the delay, was up there Wednesday but my new computer arrived the same day and I've been busy moving the entirety of the internet over to it. About 90% of the 5 acres is low bank and about 10% high bank but even the high bank is only a 7-8 foot drop. This is on one of the sheds, I'll probably leave it there. Tons of deer around here, too many actually, I'll have to do something to try to keep the deer traffic down. Elk, bear and cougars as well, although the bears apparently only show up during the fawn-drop to feast.
Is Thule a decent brand of bag? Saw a laptop backpack for $55 the other day and was thinking of getting it.
Haha yeah at that point we were getting litty and not watching the tv. When we were we just leave it solid orange.
Has anyone bought one of these Arcade1Up machines? Amazon is running a sale on SF2 until midnight and I'm really interested.
What's the dimensions on that thing? I saw something like that in a box at a store and it looked to only be like 3 foot tall
It’s short. They sell a box to set it on for around $50. I see they sell a golden tee arcade machine. I’ve wanted to buy a golden tee for a long time.
4 ft. I knew it was short, but quick Youtube research has shown me it is also pretty narrow that looks like it requires pretty major modification. Here's a modded one:
