Surprised a Brit did so well. Thought he was going to get f-ed up. Guess the Nigerian background helped him out.
Gordon Ramsey being one of the biggest bitches w the heat was really surprising. Always hilarious too
Yeah. I guess considering he’s an internationally renown chef he’s make the rounds w other cuisines ect. One of the funnier hot ones eps
Heat and Spice isn't something a Chef should be fine with. Inflicting pain on humans doesn't get you a Michelin star
I assume when he travels he does the fancy restaurant circuit vs eating at normal places like you'd see travel centric people like Bourdain/Guy/Chang would do. Hoping they get David Chang before the next season of his show comes out.
even more to the point, good food doesn't need it. heat and spice (I'm talking extreme spice not just a dab of chili flakes or something) are great tools to hide inferior quality food.
Yep! Why you need to be careful of 'spicy whatever' sushi... especially in grocery stores. Spicy Salmon/Tuna in stores is most likely because the fish is old
I can only speak for myself, I eat Indian food at least monthly and I have never had anything very hot even when I choose the hottest options on the menu. Thai food is a completely different animal though, they have brought my soul into new dimensions of hell with some of their spices.
Then your Indian place is wack. I ask for very spicy and once thought I was having a stroke it was so spicy.
Everything indian and mexican food around middle and southeast georgia when I ask for "hot" never gets past a habanero heat level. We have some legit mexican food but I don't know about the quality of indian food here in the Macon - Savannah region.
Speaking of hot sauces, apparently that Korean hot chicken ramen's sauce can be bought individually now, its honestly pretty good
to me, it tastes good. it's miserable to eat because you get it all over your mouth and lips when eating it. by the end of the bowl, I'm not enjoying myself much. it's an endurance test.
I'll probably dvr it and forget to watch it enough times that the first few get deleted automatically
Since we're a few weeks from an episode and this is sort of the unofficial hot sauce thread (unless there's another one I don't know about?) I got a bottle of this stuff for Christmas and it is absolutely magnificent. It's not overly hot (but I believe they have hotter versions), but definitely a step above your standard Frank's, Cholula, etc. It pretty much tastes like a creamy buffalo sauce with truffles, and it has been amazing on everything I've tried it on. It's a bit hot for my wife, she's not a huge hot sauce fan, but she suffers through simply because it tastes so good.
This video kinda sucks IMO but Sean says Margot Robbie is the season premiere next week. Exciting times.
Currently experiencing Da Bomb for the first time. The burn is great but I cant really taste the sauce itself
