No. First they need to contact their insurer to find an in-network provider for their dependent and prove its not a pre-existing condition. Fuck this country even more now.
True story: at lunchtime I’m in line at the nearby Taco Bell where many co-workers in my agency and other agencies acquire their midday sustenance. The server looks...”odd”. “What the fuck is wrong about that guy”, I ask myself. Finally I decide it’s his palor. The fucker is yellowish. I decide that I’ll eat somewhere else. I go up the line and tell people “Don’t. Go visit the Colonel next door.” I ask to see the manager, “Do his eyes look ‘yellow’ to you? I recommend you take him off the line.” Luckily user xec had a cell phone. At the time it looked like a black brick. I called UDOH and got a nurse dispatched. She sent the dude for Hepatitis testing. He was, amazingly, positive. The Taco Bell was shut down for a few weeks.
It shouldn't matter what you think of COVID-19, but it is serious and should be combated with upmost seriousness and anyone who exhibits any symptoms should be tested an isolated for future precautions.
I’m not sure of the background of your post, but as tests become more available this will happen. Available tests have not met the demand. Therefore, limiting criteria were established. As a result of the limitations there is an unquantified number of citizens who were/are infected but never tested. This also applies to a population of infected Americans who were killed. Currently, in hot spot areas such as NYC, Detroit, and New Orleans people are getting sick and dying at home, or recovering at home. They will not be tested and will not be included in the official COVID-19 stats until 2 or 3 years from now when retrospective studies of this event casts more light upon it.
This should be a message to every citizen every day. Not just in this COVID crisis, but every single day. We are in this together- - - every day.
“Every generation must know it’s own suffering” I don’t know if it’s good or bad to be watching this. Side note: my floor cares for a Chernobyl victim. She has had multiple cancers, yet survives.
Jazzy Jeff is apparently recovering from double pneumonia after losing his sense of taste and smell. Not Today, covid!!!
Not much you can do for a broken toe, to be honest. I wouldn’t question dad’s response to just making his kid suck it up and take acetaminophen. I’ve broken the big toe on my right foot a half dozen times. It throws off your gait for a few weeks but you learn to compensate and it’s pretty easy to rehab since you have to walk on it.
The Dallas Federal Reserve’s Manufacturing Survey Outlook received comments from the food industry that “if high demand for packaged food remains at current levels, serious shortages should be expected in May.” The issue isn’t the food supply, but the materials used to package it which is sourced globally. Americans have gone from eating 50% of their meals at home to 80% and the industry wasn’t ready for that. https://www.dallasfed.org/research/surv ... b-comments
Patient is the last word I'd use to describe myself, but I've already survived 3 weeks. Growth is happening.
Honestly that’s the only thing that’ll make Trump take it seriously and likely the reason for the giant about face on whether or not it’s just a cold. kinda gotta take the wins where we can find em
If any company tries some dumb ass April fools social media shit tomorrow I will make a point to never buy from them again
unbelievable. I saw where a few pastors have a warrant out for their arrest in Florida for having a Sunday service packed. Fucking. Idiots. This shit is never going to end. Did you see Micklers last weekend? beaches were slammed.
Maybe a black athlete can post a video of him or herself kneeling for the Anthem so Trump can support the troops again.
Do we have enough data from other countries where we can ignore and never reference China’s numbers again? The number they put out for PMI yesterday shows how offensively fake all information they release can be.
