Explanation from any Nurse, Doctor etc. Why can't these hospitals protect you people on the front lines? Isn't there anything they can do? Shouldn't you people who are voluntarily putting your lives on the line get top priority for PPE?? This is embarrassing, and shameful.. I'm serious. This angers the fuck out of me.

This medical personnel stuff means alot to me for many reason, and by my posts from today I think they are heroes. To be treated like this is making me feel embarrassed to be an American. My question was in regards to why you being on the front line aren't being given priority to PPE, and how can they justify sending you into a warzone without any protection? How can they get away with this?

USA is approved as a tier 3, except for Hawaii which is a tier 2 ( lower is better).

 

I'm guessing it means they only took kids before and now they will take patients under 90

 

U14 meant we only allowed surgical cases that had to be done within 14 days before a negative patient impact. We’ve expanded to U90 which means the same thing expanded to 90 days but there’s language in this new format that opens a big window to elective cases. This decision is solely $$$ based

My recent role in the OR workplace means minimal contact in an actual OR suite. I observe the PPE conservative protocols we have in place but I’m at the point right now where I use 2-3 masks per week and make them last all day

 

Urgent surgeries needing to be done within 14 days or 90 days.

 

Wait until you hear that we havent increased testing capacity in two weeks. Two weeks!
