Oh yea it starts in spring training, then regular season, etc. There's 7 total leading up to the World Series. I'm only in the 3rd one, All Star. I'm at a 482 rating. I was over 500 at one point, which I think that had me in the 4th tier, Pennant Race. Just checked, I'm now 17-20.
This is what I was thinking because it seems like if I make a run, I get thrown to some really good players. Also have noticed I’ll play guys who are high level, but their record is like 75-82
dblplay1212 I think you can see your rating mod on the main page looking at your lineup. It lists all the overall, pitching, hitting etc. then rating mod
These are the dudes I don’t mind playing. Assume if they’ve played that much and are .500 I have a chance.
Why is 99 Kluber the pitcher that I see so much? Are there not other 99 pitchers? I don't play DD at all, so just talking about what I see posted in here.
There are, but he’s just kind of glitchy for lack of a better term. They made the sinker super effective and that’s his best pitch
Yea he wasn't great. Lost 3-2 with the tying run thrown out at the plate to end the game. Still, just frustrating to play a bunch of golds in a row when I'm a beginner.
It means you play the game a lot. As a beginner, id rather play other people that are fairly new to the game too.
lol i barely play at all i just play game modes that rank me up fast. i guarantee you’ve played way more than i have
I'm bronze 47. All I play is DD and I have less than 40 games. So no, I don't think I've played more.
i’ve played one game online outside of that tournament. and the only game mode i play is road to october which skips like 5 games and then you play two innings. repeat. so yes, you have.
Think about how some dude who just picked up the game and is fielding a team full of silvers and a couple golds would feel about running into your all-diamond squad because you just decided to start playing DD. Actual game performance is the only reasonable way to match make. Your team is far from outclassed.
I think on the main menu, when you can tab over and see your roster. It shows like your starting 9 basically. The left side shows your levels
Yeah this I agree with. It’s hard to do on this type of mode because someone could pay real money to field a 99 squad before they even play an actual game. So you get some good and some bad matchups.
If you're gold, you've played the game more than me. It's impossible to get there while playing 40 games.
i literally play one offline game mode 97% of the time i’m sure you would complain about my team full of shitty players if you came across me and i was gold right?
Offline or online, doesn't matter. You've played the game more than me. Why are you trying to argue otherwise? Weird hill to die on. And the golds I'm playing haven't been rolling out shitty teams so idk why you're making this comparison.
I think the thing is there’s a big difference between playing two months of RTTS exclusively and playing diamond dynasty obviously. That’s why it’s hard to do the matchups based on XP level. So the way they do it is the best possible way IMO, but you definitely have times you run into some really good guys and have no chance. That said the other night I played two golds, one guy was really good and I lost 5-1, the other I won 4-0 and had 21 Ks
Ok so I hit levek 50 bronze but when I go to xp reward path and click triangle to show the reward players, i can't pick any if them. I haven't done this at any level yet so idk how it works.
I don’t know what the hell happened but the last week I have not been able to hit for shit. I was never a juggernaut, but this is embarrassing. Way early on everything.
I think it could be because I played on my laptop a couple nights to grind some program stuff offline and there’s a minor lag. Hopefully it’s just a timing thing now that I’m back on my actual ps4/TV
Alright played another DD game after my post about not hitting and won 5-0 and had 15Ks pitching so hopefully I figured it back out.
