Mine just got here this week. Now I need to get some good shoes to really use it as I have just been riding in sneakers all week. What type of shoes does everyone like?
How'd they do? Link to stats? Edit : Women numbers less than I expected and justin thomas bringing up the rear and getting smoked by bubba was surprising. Booger is a freak. The swimmer and gordon hayward beating him is expected but him breaking 380 on a 20 min ride at his age is amazing.
Not sure I ever saw the swimmer get out of the saddle, I could be wrong though. Both winners’ form was textbook.
Just did my first live class a couple hours ago. Set a new pr of 338 on a 20 min. ride. Finished 18th out of 1200. 1st place was in the 420s lol. Really like this new instructor, Tunde. Also, the ESPN ride classes are on demand now.
Anybody have any luck getting their delivery date moved up? Any tips. Mine is still July 11th but hoping I can get it sometime in June...
Joined the peloton gang today. Well technically will be joining in 7-9 weeks whenever it arrives. Got motivated to start getting in shape when I ‘threw’ my back on while taking a nap on my couch.
Did Emma’s 30 minute arms and intervals class from 6/11. She played Justin Beiber and said here is a little Bieber as a reward but I heard “beaver” and about jizzed in my fucking bike shorts.
So think I'm gonna be buying one since I'm moving in with the gf and she wants to use our savings on our new place to buy this. I've used the one in her current apt a few times and I liked it a lot but found the seat very uncomfortable. Is there something I should know about that seat or anything in general I should know before purchasing?
Use my referral code and you get $100 off initial accessories which can be a pair of shoes or the mat or something. You don't need peloton accessories if you choose others such as shoes and the heart rate monitor. People don't like the poloton hr monitor typically.
The seat was uncomfortable for me initially, but only lasted about 1 week. This is fairly common as your "sit bones" get used to it. There are padded shorts and seat covers you can buy but it didn't bother me at all after the first few days to 1 week.
In fairness, my ass had already been broken in and was used to pounding...that I would get from the bikes in my local spin studio.
Is there a strava group y’all use? I was searching for TMB running group and found a cycling group. Requested to join.
Ahh that makes sense. I didn’t realize it was still broken. I am used to looking down on the leaderboard to see you. Hope it gets fixed soon.
We do. Except I had a bet last year with Daniel over mileage and he kicked my ass I like 3 months. Hope you get your bike fixed soon. There are some good new instructors. Tunde is a beast. Not sure if you have ridden with Her yet.
Still get a kick out of Ben’s “oh I love this track” or “oh this is a banger” and it’s like Nickleback or Old Town Road.
I like Ben, like I like Wilpers, the just get on the bike and do it, business attitude really works for me sometimes.
I liked the pride ride. I wasn’t a fan of the Disney ride. I did it live but I don’t think I’d have done it if I knew the playlist. First class of hers I almost didn’t finish. Glad it was only 15 minutes. Doing ride 1200 today hopefully Kendall’s 45 minute ride at 1130.
Thinking about finally making the purchase. Been holding off for whatever reason the past year or so. Does anyone have a referral code they can send me. Would be much appreciated
I have no idea who is up but my wife has enough shit so I’ll let someone else grab the referral code.
