Pam was very open about her dreams of going to art school, Jim and possibly Roy snuck around Pam without including her in big life decisions. Man, margaritas really do make you a supporter of Pam (Pamster)
I used to firmly be on this team. After several quarantine rewatches, she has her moments, but I don’t hate her anymore
The writers were cruel to pam in the second half of the show. Starting maybe just before Michael starts dating her mom.
I started doing random episodes when I then this on to fall asleep or be background. I either do random number generator on google with 1-9 then 1-however many episodes that season or scroll down on my Facebook feed and the first office group post/comment that comes up I do the episode that it references.
A lot of jazz cats are blind. But, they can play the piano like nobody's business. I'd like to put the piano in front of Pam, without her glasses and see what happens... I'd also like to see her topless.
Fucking Jim. That bozo could have taken the job in NY and moved Pam up there with him. She literally moves there on her own like a year later. This god damn show, I tell ya.
This drove me nuts on a rewatch. Dude left that job behind so she could keep her.. *checks notes* receptionist job? There are a million of those in nyc jimbo... time to start climbing the ladder and bring her with you
Yep, Jim went back to Scranton because he wanted to be with Pam, Pam had no idea Jim was going to turn down the job (or break up Karen). The final scene from that season is Jim surprising Pam with a date offer.
He went straight from the interview to ask her out and start dating. She was the reason he said no to the job. bro get the job and ask her out, she’s going to say yes
Jim wasn’t going to take the job so he could try to start a long distance relationship with the girl he’s been in love with. come on guys.
Yeah this isn’t “ask the girl out you like at the office and see how it goes”, dude has been in love with her for years, they were basically deep in a relationship before their first official date.
So Jim takes the job and they start a long distance relationship? Or Pam moves in with Jim who she's kissed once and has never been on a date with. What planet do you guys live on? You saw the final outcome so that is skewing your view here imo.
zeberdee and Bruce Bowen what you’re failing to acknowledge here is that they’ve pretty much been an item for a couple of years at this point. She would have packed up and moved in a second. Jim is one of those townie lifers. He bought his childhood home for fucks sake. “Austin” was a panic wrap up by the writers.
I’m saying that yes, it would’ve been long distance for maybe a month before she moves with him. During that month they’d be seeing each other every weekend without fail
Him talking about tucking his junk is the cringiest Doesn't even fit his character... it's like they were going for gasps, man
"Pretty much been an item" while dating and engaged to other people and only seeing each other at work or at work functions. I'm not denying there wasn't an emotional relationship but jesus at thinking them moving in together into what would have likely been a tiny 1 bedroom nyc apartment while never having been on a single date would have netted the same outcome.
