No matter who the coach is, beating Clemson is 4-5 years away. The talent level just isn't there. I personally want Chadwell. The man won championships at Charleston Southern. He was beating Coastal at CSU, which should NEVER happen. He also went toe to toe and came close to beating North Dakota State in the dome. He has a proven track record of winning at several programs where you shouldn't be able to win at.

Honestly outside of 5 year stretch with Spurrier, this program hasn't done anything of substance in its history. Urban Meyer ain't walking through that door. Any coach of substance isn't coming to South Carolina. The man took Ole Miss to the Sugar Bowl coming out of the SEC WEST. Who cares about sanctions? The program has fallen back to the bottom of the SEC. Unless this state starts producing talent like it did during the Spurrier stretch, program will still be in trouble; which is why need a person that will get elite talent to Columbia. Hell take the Dabo route, it works. Be religious, be positive, and pay players.
