idk what "wide adidas" means but ultra boost has prime knit so they are really stretchy for the pinky toes to breath which is great for me, no blisters but I go .5 size up in UB (wear a 12, wear 12.5 in UB) the 350 yeezys aren't as good of a stretch IMO so they feel a touch tighter than UB so for me 13s in 350s are the way to go
I’d get confirmed app and just enter draws to get them. I average winning more than every other draw on there. If you really like a pair try on yeezy supply at the same time. Easy to get them that way
It's wild when you get a crispy pair and they're almost TOO white. Like I want them to look fresh but I almost need a small scuff to keep people from staring at my glowing feet
Haha of COURSE they used the og Frag colorblocking for the F&F pair. This pair will be waaaaaay better than the "gr" pair.
It’s cool that it was an original unreleased colorway but yeah, it still doesn’t look that great. Should have used that one for the F&F and did the fragment colorway for the GR.
Agree. The gr isn't isn't great imo. Or even made the toebox white instead of blue and then the wrap in blue instead of white. Just too much white.
I think the point is probably to make it look different enough. The other color way could be mistaken for a standard pair at quick glance
I'd kinda written this pack off but recently fell into a good deal on them so had to add them. The 3 is butt and the only main difference on the am1 is the outsole but that Jumpman on the outsole is amazing imo so always wanted them. I'll still just wear my regular pair but glad to have these stashed away.
Probably have said it here but I had the Chicago lows in 10.5. Felt slightly tight after a few wears so donated those and grabbed a pair of 11s on stock x for $60
Yeah for sure. Probably about half of those were public releases but the other half weren't released from what I've seen. The navy 5's in the middle row and navy 4's with the M tongue in the bottom row would sell for a combined 10k+ on StockX. I'm always curious about if you get discounted/free gear (outside of team stuff) being an athlete or how that works. The 4's in the bottom row on the far right were a grand release that I own...Did he have to pay anything to get them or did he go to the equipment room and pick them up? Some guys on the Michigan basketball team hoop in somewhat rare retro Jordan's....rare enough that they are 500+ on StockX; do they have to pay for those or are they allotted with the gear deal? Minor details for sure, but for guys in this thread, those would be quite important.
Someone on here will know, but my impression is players and coaches get a hefty allowance of free equipment every year. All you ever see an athlete wearing on normal school days on campus
At big schools, they get as much logo gear as they want. The PE shoes are limited so most players can only get one but shirts and shorts and hats they get as much as they want. Bama football's clothing room is the size of a house.
I'm sure everyone has similar, but I toured SCAR's new football facility and it has a whole area dedicated to uniform/brand fetish. Huge Under Armour logo, futuristic glassed in lockers featuring every uniform combo that light up as you get near them. Pick out your helmet, jersey, pants and UA shoes and take pics for the Gram
So from the pic above, you think that he didn't pay anything for those? I know the PE's were team releases, but everything else was free?
Most school deals are done with money and guaranteed gear. So let’s say FSU deal with Nike is 7 million. They get like 2 million in cash and 5 million in gear.
I assume if all American player wants 10 pairs of shoes he gets them, where 3rd string gets one and likes it
Hard to say on stuff like the Cool Grey 4s. I doubt Nike gave them to them bc that's not something they'd wear on court and not something with the M logo. Maybe they got them for road travel shoes? No clue. I was really talking about the M logo stuff. They get all the Michigan clothing they want. They get it for free so that's why they wear it 24/7.
Their sponsorship deals provide gear at a 50% discount. So that $5 million in the contract is $10 million worth of gear at retail.
The PE basketball pairs are so limited I don't think the AA can even get 10. Maybe 2, but they make like 24-48 pairs of a lot of them and they go to all players and coaches and staff.
