https://nbatopshot.com/listings/p2p...+d0a816fe-2e72-4134-ad40-494293408a8b/history Why did someone buy a common Fred Van Vleet serial number #11511 for over $140,000 yesterday?
My guess was it was a strange way to be "gifted" a legendary moment That guy has like 100 versions of the same dwight howard dunk too. Very odd
With these starting to be moved to other market places it seems like a pretty easy work around, what's the plan then?
Made it around 50k. Signed up ahead of time and lost track of time. Opened my phone right as I hit my spot in line somehow. CP CC 9856 Jeff green 3294 LE Aaron Gordon 32k KD 24k Duncan Robinson 27k
Capela, Gasol, PJ Washington, Dort, Bogdanovic CC. All shit serials. Gross, show me a worse pack and make me feel a little better.
BOOORINGGGGG Gordon Hayward Layup CC 12608 Dwight Howard Dunk 13430 Jerami Grant Dunk 9746 Matisse Thybulle Steal 32678 Kevin Porter Jr Layup 2808
Never heard of him until I opened that card and then realized it was the Cool Cat. Very disappointing.
are you all making real money off this? Just curious and I haven't caught up on this thread, but a friend got into top shot.
I’ve spent a total of $9 dollars and my account is worth in the $1000s even after selling some stuff. I’m not getting rich off of it but it’s been fun to do some of the challenges with my brothers. Guys like Sanjuro have made bank.
That’s a curious question at the moment. Most people can’t take money out of their dapper accounts yet. Also most people likely have an account value greater than the cash investment than they initially put in. The cheapest packs are $9, and give three moments. The cheapest individual moments for sale are $5. So unless you are in the marketplace buying individuals right before the price tanks you should be ahead. Whether most of us will be able to realize our gains is tbd.
I've put in $60. Have nearly $400 on dapper, and account is valued ~$900. Just got ability to withdrawal in last few weeks, but haven't tried yet.
$9 into ~$500. Probably not worth the time sink at this point but I'm one random draw away from significant money. Very little risk
Cool cats challenge looks cheap to complete currently. Helped I had 3 of the pieces already. To making money, seems like you can't lose money off buying packs. Haven't tried withdrawing yet but money I'm ok with just sitting there for now.
I just tried to buy a Hayward cool cat bc they seem pretty cheap. Purchase failed and now I have to wait an hour to try again. That seems dumb and not fair.
I haven’t bought anything from the market but spent 250 on packs. My dapper balance is 1300. I do 3 accounts with my wife and kid and only got the 9 dollar packs on those. My kid has 125 and my wife has 35. It’s nice free rolling at this point and still at minimum doubling your money on any packs. I think the only way to lose money is to gamble in the marketplace.
I've bought 6 moments from the marketplace. 3 for the pack drop. Accidentally sold them after the pack drop and had 0 moments. Bought another 3 but still was up. Between those 3 and the 5 from the cool cats I have 8. Probably will keep 4-5 just in case they make you have some requirements for future drops
For time being. The transaction load is usually insane post pack drop so they put limits and phase it back.
I’ve got all the cool cats for the master challenge except the new ones minus Jrue. There will probably only be 2500 or so that get the Lamello challenge reward
There was a rumor that they were going to change the rules and implied that you need to complete all 4 challenges on one acct for the master
What if I told you that the people that run top shot seem to have issues with making logical decisions?
Do the challenge rewards actually sell? Thought I read somewhere where it's cheaper to do the challenge vs buying the reward That was for a Holo icon though. Idk about ones like the cool cats
