This got me curious so I took a look at their depth chart. Going to be a long road for this staff. I saw 5-6 guys who should be solid players but they were all Fr or So. Random note: Zykeivious Walker is at Auburn, completely forgot about him.
We have some talent on our roster. We have holes in spots that will really hurt, like OT & OC. Keiondre Jones at Guard is good. Might be our only decent lineman. And WR has some top 150 recruits, but absolutely 0 experience at the position. Defense we have a few that have played well in addition to Pappoe Roger McCreary will be drafted in the first few rounds and was 2nd team all sec by PFF last year. Zakoby McClain is a small LB but an SEC level player, 2nd team PFF too. Dreshun Miller was good a WVU and an SEC level player. Then we have a lot of younger guys who just haven't played a lot. Zykeivious Walker looked like one of our better DL last year when he played (thanks Jake Scott). Lee Hunter is a TrFr, but looked pretty decent in Spring. There's talent sprinkled in. I think being weak on the OL and interior DL is going to hurt us. We've have 3 top 100 DL transfer from our last 2 classes
If you have been disappointed with OL play the last few years....will friend is exactly who you don’t hire
He's been inconsistent, but good when he's not dropping passes. I think he was a QB in HS so still learning. He had a drop or two in the spring game. Him and Ze'Vain Capers from Alpharetta will be two of our top 3 WRs. Talent, but young. Our leading WR had like 7 receptions last year. I'm interested to see how Bobo and Harsin, mesh. I don't think it is going to be Bobo's offense.
Lee Hunter should see the field quickly. Harsin kicked off a couple DL yesterday, so we're getting thin there quickly
Locks Most Everyone we play Loses Aggies Fortunately Aggies will lose to Bama and Arkansas so we go to the SECCG vs The fighting Beamers from Columbia. They lose badly just like 2010
Wins 3 OOC games + USC Toss Ups Penn State, Slaw, Miss Schools (both at home). I'm not buying this dumbass hype for State. Our shit team that had quit smoked them last year. Probably Lose Aggies Most Likely lose, but praying for a miracle b/c it is at home. UGA/Bama 100% Loss b/c we'll never win in BR again LSU
pruitt taking him along with him because of their friendship I get Anyone else hiring him is a head scratcher
put it this way UT had 4 5 star OL starters and they still were atrocious So imagine him with LESS talent
You would have thought by now all of y’all would know what is going to happen in a year that Auburn is supposed to suck but has Georgia and Alabama at home. This is a prime AuburnJesus year. They will start 2-0 go to Penn St and lose like 21-13 in a game that isn’t that close. Beat Georgia St, go to LSU and lose in comical fashion. They will be 3-2 heading into Georgia and will rip off a bunch inexplicable wins in a row, because that’s what AuburnJesus does.
I believe the last two times we started the season unranked we went to the BCS Championship game and the Sugar bowl. So, it's right up our alley. We'll be ranked top 10 going into 22 and lose 4-5 games.
Hopefully Harsin is not dumb enough to make a game plan that solely attacks the #1 CB in all of college football who repeatedly destroys our WR and causes multiple picks. I don't think he's as stupid as Gus. I really hope he isn't.
Hopefully he sucks the head of a dozen crawfish after the game. Double down on Tubs and ensure we don't win in BR for another 3 decades.
Didn't Bama put out a tweet of all the players that Saban had "recruited" that ended up in the NFL a while back?
We've had 16 guys transfer this year. Probably somewhat expected with lax transfer rules and a new HC that isn't a pud. With the freedom of transfers, I hope the NCAA decouples transfers/HS kids from the 25 player rule
I'm not saying it's impossible but looking at the roster it's hard to believe that is Auburn's current football team.
It's going to happen, at some time in my lifetime, Auburn will have back to back 10 win season. Parades will be thrown
One thing I'm a little worried about with Harsin. Gus's super bowl was beating the shit out of your pathetic school. I hope Brian takes the same vigor and continues what Gus started. Ideally he applies that to all schools, unlike Gus.
Nah, it was a thing. Cause I remember laughing at him using some LSU players that didn't even get offered until after he left. To be fair, this was back in 2013. So Auburn is only 8 years away!
Saw a list of transfers.... Tennessee 33 State 20 lord. Vandy 19 Auburn 16 Aggies 16 Missouri 15 Slaw 13 UGA 11 Scar 11 LSU 11 Kentucky 10 Florida 10 Ole Miss 8 Bama 7
