it sure is shitty Hamas started this war. Israel opened the Erez and Kerem Shalom crossing to allow aid into Gaza from Jordan and do you know what happened? It was hit by rockets and a mortar shell from Gaza.
youre the kind of person that will excuse make for a terrorist organization aren’t you? No response on Hamas shelling aid trying to come into Gaza? Surely someone so interested in peace and just sticking up for themselves would never do that.
If Hamas believes war is the best way to freedom than that’s their prerogative. However terrible things come with the initiation of war.
I terrorists I mean, what kind of claim is this? It’s irresponsible to look at a situation without understanding both sides. Completely ignoring why hamas does what it does is disingenuous to discussion. Obviously they both think they’re in the right, but unless you’re willing to see other perspectives you’ll remain the resident bootlicker.
hamas does what it does because it doesn’t recognize Israel as a country and its charter is the destruction of Israel. Hamas leaders are living large while Palestinians live in squalor. As I said before why doesn’t Hamas use their funding to build bunkers for civilians instead of tunnels for themselves to hide in and to smuggle weapons through?
It should just be an @TheSouth tag. Southern states love the fuck outta some fascism. Alabama doesn’t hold exclusive rights to fascism support in the US.
protectors of the Palestinian people Many of these unlawful killings were publicly billed as attacks against people assisting Israel during the July and August 2014 conflict as part of an operation, codenamed “Strangling Necks”, to target “collaborators”. However, in reality, at least 16 of those executed had been in Hamas custody since before the conflict broke out. Many had been awaiting the outcome of their trials when they were taken away from prison and summarily executed. Hamas forces also abducted, tortured or attacked members and supporters of Fatah, their main rival political organization within Gaza, including former members of the Palestinian Authority security forces. Not a single person has been held accountable for the crimes committed by Hamas forces against Palestinians during the 2014 conflict, indicating that these crimes were either ordered or condoned by the authorities. “Instead of upholding justice, the Hamas authorities and leadership have continuously encouraged and facilitated these appalling crimes against powerless individuals. Their failure to even condemn the unlawful killings, abduction and torture of perceived suspects leaves them effectively with blood on their hands,” said Philip Luther. Atta Najjar, a former police officer under the Palestinian Authority who has a mental disability, was serving a 15-year prison term imposed by a military court after he was arrested in 2009 and subsequently convicted of “collaborating” with Israel. On 22 August 2014, he was taken out from the prison and executed. “There were marks of torture and bullet shots on his body. His arms and legs were broken… his body was as if you’d put it in a bag and smashed it... His body was riddled with about 30 bullets. He had slaughter marks around his neck, marks of knives… And from behind the head – there was no brain. Empty… It was difficult for us to carry him… He was heavy, like when you put meat in a bag; no bones. His bones were smashed. They broke him in the prison,” said his brother, who retrieved the body from al-Shifa hospital morgue on 22 August 2014. https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/n...-killed-by-hamas-forces-during-2014-conflict/
It’s strange how a large group of US citizens base all of their political beliefs on the assumption that the government is going to take their property from them yet they support a government that’s doing exactly that to another group of people.
That twitter account is a joke, its mostly stock photos, facebook screenshots, and biased commentary.
Let’s be honest, that same group of people in the US doesn’t want brown people to have the same rights as they do either. It’s all projection.
Man wait until you hear about what a country that prides itself on free elections of officials by citizens did in South America and also literally any community of not white people in the US.
The armed wing of Palestinian militant group Hamas executed one of the group's leading commanders after allegations surfaced of gay sex and theft, it has been revealed. Members of the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades shot Mahmoud Ishtiwi, 34, three times in the chest after they had detained him for a year, The New York Timesreported on Tuesday. Ishtiwi, who had two wives and three children, carved the word zulum, or wronged, into his body while he was in prison, his family said. They said Ishtiwi told them during a family visit to the jail that he had been whipped, deprived of sleep and hung from the ceiling during his detention. https://www.newsweek.com/prominent-hamas-commander-was-executed-after-accusations-gay-sex-432343
then search whatever account you want, Hamas shelled both crossings. Also people will post literally anything from any Twitter account if it’s anti-Israel and the crowd in here just nods
right, Hamas takes every conflict with Israel to execute its rivals. You can find stuff from the 09 and 14 conflicts. If you search around you can find tweets about them already rounding up “collaborators” now
Searched Twitter for “Biden Israel arms deal” and they had the most succinct headline. Definitely not a subscriber.
I am missing all the pro-hamas talk that Illini keeps referring to. Every post does not need to be quantified with “the terrorists operating in the Gaza Strip are bad people.” I can’t speak for everyone but if you had 10 hamas soldiers in a field and killed them with a missile, that’s justified based on the rocket attacks. When you have someone with hamas fire a rocket from the roof of a building where innocent people live, it’s despicable. It is also completely unjustified for Israel to blow that building up the next day. They give warning to get civilians out most of the time so the hamas guy is gone also. So all you’ve done is make a lot of people homeless and possibly kill some innocents for what purpose? The hamas guy uses the building next door for the rocket tomorrow so you blow that up also? Israel’s strategy is not to win. It’s to keep the conflict going long enough to make the Israeli people fear for their lives to keep the nationalists in power.
People keep saying that Hamas has a good reason for what they do. They are continually painted as the good guys standing up against the evil Israeli state, the defenders of the Palestinian people. I don't understand your premise regarding targeting Hamas, are you saying it'd be better if Israel blows up a building full of civilians as long as they have an active military target? A lot of buildings that are destroyed are used as facilities to make weapons. A single rocket fired from a building isn't going to result in a building being destroyed. Also I think Israel would love to "win" but the conditions of that win are not acceptable to the rest of society.
Maybe Israel shouldn't have created Hamas to undermine attempts at Palestinian solidarity. And for that matter, maybe they shouldn't run an ever-expanding apartheid state.
Is he?? I keep going back and forth between he knows he is lying or maybe he is just a fucking moron.
I know it's harsh, but I just have so little patience for conservatives and their talking points anymore.
Especially when like the playbook is so familiar and exhausted and we can literally see atrocities being committed for no fucking reason on our pocket computers.
Apparently this is the "israeli john oliver" responding to john's commentary I'm busy watching cooking videos but I'm sure this will be interesting to people itt. ...im not gonna watch it.
