“Either we get that Super League money or we will have to watch our inevitable downfall.” Fixed it for them.
Well we all know CAS has no backbone so it's probably going to be overturned. It's why FFP doesn't work because no one respects it. Would love to be wrong though.
Pretty sure those are the standard letters sent to each club that qualifies every season. Probably won’t matter in the end but they can still be expelled after the disciplinary committee rules on it.
Lol at Perez not being the top guy pushing it but he’s not wrong as far as United and Liverpool being far more involved than people seem to be making it seem with the final 3 holdouts being pegged as the biggest villains. Anyone who’s owner/president was chairman/vice chairman was in that position for a reason.
Our aim is to keep developing the Super League project in a constructive and cooperative manner, man, these some hard headed mother fuckers.
for those clubs without oligarchs or oil money, they should probably refrain from paying David Alaba €115m over 5 years, spending 9 figures on Eden hazard and dropping almost 300 million and insane wages on coutinho and Griezmann. Actually even the teams owned by oligarchs and oil money shouldn’t do that.
The account they’re citing has 4 million followers. Doesn’t mean it’s true, but it does seem to be more than just made up bullshit.
Sounds like the new iteration would be a Champions League replacement rather than a domestic league replacement
Sounds like EPL clubs are definitely out. Still no PSG or bayerndesliga clubs. Would just be spanish and italy? I can't see this going anywhere
Did anyone else watch this yet? I was impressed by how balanced it was. Make no mistake, it’s obvious that the Super League was a hilariously bad idea, but I did enjoy hearing from the proponents of the Super League, despite how dumb they were.
