Yeah, I don't think we should buy players from Leicester unless they only got one year left on their deal or something
I’ve seen Falk wrong so many times in the transfer threads on Bayern stuff that I don’t trust him much
Well, now I don't want to sell Minamino. Actually think Minamino's future is dependent on what Harvey Elliott looks like in preseason. I don't think either have the pace to play on wing in our 4-3-3 with Firmino. Coutinho could play as a 10 on the left and cutting inside, but he was miles better than either of them at the moment. AFCON makes it tricky with how many attackers they want to go into the season with. Ox staying healthy would probably more helpful than Keita, cause Ox can play a variety of roles.
Man Jude Bellingham sure would look nice in our midfield. If we’re going to lose sell half of our midfield, that’s where I’d want to spend money
And he goes into the homegrown category, another big plus His price has to be pretty astronomical though
It'd be north of 60 mil most likely but like you said with him being homegrown, its a gamble I'd take.
This. I think it'd take absolutely stupid money to get him form Dortmund in the next couple seasons(barring BVB missing CL and needing cash)
If teenage midfielders are your thing, Gravenberch at Ajax seems like someone more likely to at Liverpool’s price point in the next few years.
Well, if that’s the track that it’s on, it sounds like he’s signing it based on the recent headlines.
Not exactly ideal to see Adrian re-signed for a year. Thought last year was a huge indictment on his ability at this stage of his career. He could hardly kick a ball or save a shot.
i agree. I also saw they are shopping Kelleher for loan (or sale but I hope not) to some lower division sides.
It has nothing to do with money. They would have just signed Ben Foster on a free. If anything he is overqualified to be a third choice keeper. They've said they aren't loaning Kelleher. His job is to be a keeper in practice and be well liked in the dressing room.
With the number of games Ali’s missed the last few years, loaning Kelleher out would be risky beyond belief.
