Holy shit. Got an e-mail that I had an offer on an item I didn't recognize in OpenSea. Turns out I was on the Zed giveaway list and didn't catch it. This just arrived 30 mins ago.
I love the idea of collector score tiers for drops, but these levels seem out of whack. I've spent thousands directly on individual moments in the marketplace, currently own 60+ and have bought as many packs as possible and my collector score is only 2k. Not even halfway to level 2? Unless you got in reeeally early, you have to spend some stupid money to get to 5,000 it seems. also, have they dropped the bonuses for that drop? I haven't sold anything but last I checked my score was in the high 3s and now it has dropped to 2k
https://jankyheist.com/ This looks promising other than the reverse auction. First established property I am aware of to jump on the avatar NFT craze.
I love the reverse auction idea. Way better than a drop, although it kind of ruins the resale side of it. Will be very interesting
without perusing this whole thread, can someone explain to me how to do a NFT like I'm 5? Like, if I'm the person who has something to make a NFT Or where would be some great resources or does anyone have experience doing it who may want to only talk privately?
In my novice brain, there's a large range of NFTs, so it really depends on what you're looking for. Like TopShot has the more "collectible" side. ZedRun has space horses you can own/race. There's a bunch of projects that are basically just art pieces. If you have an idea no that, someone ITT will likely be able to help a bit more.
this q&a is how I learned about it: https://www.theartnewspaper.com/news/how-to-mint-an-artwork-as-an-nft-with-jeremy-deller
I know. I was thinking Penguin The Duck would be the most knowing ITT of that side of NFTs. Maybe I'm off on what he's been buying though.
wife finally got approved for top shot withdraw so dumb it took this long while mine got approved months ago
Actually did one of these last night as I had most of the pieces already. https://nbatopshot.com/showcases/2a5efd8b-f1b3-41cd-aeb1-bacc7b3e8a06
Here today, glue tomorrow is unofficially retired. It’s fun watching races, but I’m just donating money
naw. I'll hodl until the game has more details like gate/weather impact before selling. This game is way too early in the development cycle to really punt on horses imo.
I have a Julius Randle playoff moment which is in a challenge right now with a low ask of $12. Do I let it go? I’m struggling to think of a reason it would go higher.
Look up how to create a collection on OpenSea. You’ll pay a one time gas fee per collection but each NFT minted under that collection is free. If you can upload an image and post something on eBay you can figure this out fairly quickly. Just pay the gas fee when gas is normal, not 75 gwei like it was earlier. https://opensea.io/blog/announcements/introducing-the-collection-manager/
The gifted one is doing alright. Places 2nd or 3rd or last. No 1st place run yet. I bought a donkey off secondary though and can’t breed him for 30 days. It’s fun and addicting for sure.
Post your work if you mint anything please. I’d be happy to support a mainboarder and be the first buyer (if I can afford whatever this is)
I sold a giannis’ brother moment for $14, and my DRose playoffs for 21(it was a triple digit serial). Thinking about selling my CP3 and Ayton moments that are $30+ each before game 4, and then using the proceeds to fund a racing chicken
This is awful and the reason I started posting in the crypto thread to begin with. To talk about ledger or hardware wallets. Please read, be careful of the links you click on and double triple verify the metmask transaction you're about to sign or confirm. And then go get a ledger wallet, although this can still happen on a hardware wallet, FYI:
So this happened (again) today: I was able to sell one of the free phunks I minted for .099 a few days ago. Now the other 3 in my wallet, included a rare, are de-listed (again). Probably a half dozen times now this has happened, which is probably only hyping up the secondary value on these. There was actually a lot more effort than it looks put into this project. The mint and reveal on the website was well developed and not something just minted on OS.
And this happened earlier this morning before the de-list.. which was purchased by an actual CryptoPunks owner.
Got in on the And Then There Were Four pack queue ... have a feeling this will be a money losing pack but we will see
