The vaccine is safe, effective, FDA approved, dramatically reduces the symptoms and likelihood of death if you have a breakthrough case and even has the trump stamp of approval. Please consider it.
I encourage you to click on a thread called fuck around and find out So are you a traitor or do you just support one?
The whole Scoot Farts thread loves the new husk from Iowa! *5 seconds later* We regret to inform you the husk is a racist.
Aw gee golly shucks thanks for the warm welcome guys, I'm just a fun loving farmer ..... .... Fuck you bitch! MAGA IVERMECTIN 4 LYFE
If only Biden knew that it was tractors that we could find common ground with racist anti-vax Trumptards.
Honey today is calf working day! Time to round em up! Get the ivermectin! A little for me. A little for you. A little for me. A little for you.
Cattlefama please get vaxxed, if your doctors determine you dont have any rare allergies or complications with vaccines. We're legit dying hundreds a day in the southeast and unvaxxed people making it to the ICU stage almost never make it out any more. It's a ghastly way to die
Having watched all six episodes of HBO’s excellent documentary on surfing Nazaré, Portugal I can now confidently state that we are in the middle of what experts refer to as ‘a gnarly set’
Hey can you do us all a solid and give a friend your login credentials. If you die of covid we'd love if they could come back and let us all know. No real risk for you given it's all a made up hoax to take down trump that will disappear the day after the election, amIright?
We already had the only farmer on earth with intelligent world views in oldberg so we should have seen this coming
I’m gonna go the other way. Take some horse paste, go blind, shit yourself and let God handle this. And if you do get sick, don’t waste a hospital bed. Stand by your beliefs til the painful end.
I really ruffled some feathers with you guys I see that now.. Too answer a couple questions, I did vote for Trump, and I know he advised getting the vaccine. I’ve never even gotten a flu shot, and too be honest I haven’t gotten the covid shot because I don’t really go to the doctor. I caught covid from my wife last fall, she’s a school teacher. I never had a symptom. Why should I get this shot? If others are worried, then shouldn’t they get it for their own protection?
Also, if it came down to getting in legal trouble or getting the vaccine, I’d happily take the shot. I’m not against it because the libs are pushing it, I just don’t feel like I need to.
The two main problems (among others) are unvaccinated people bloat hospital systems and kids can't get vaccinated. Rugged individualism doesn't work in public health.
I would say so your wife doesn't get it and give it to you or you get it and give it to her and she gives it to children. It actually could matter.
You should get it because you don't want to give it to someone at dollar general who handles it worse than you did. Civic duty right now man. It's not about you and it never has been.
Honestly not getting vaccinated is probably the most profoundly selfish thing a person can do. It's free, has at worst mild side effects, and could possibly save multiple lives. Just you getting the shot could save someone's life. And you don't see the reason to get one? Fuck you
My special needs goddaughter who could need to go to the ER at a seconds notice is unlikely to be able to get a hospital bed because of people like you so as long as you are a hermit and refuse to go to the hospital no matter how bad your covid symptoms are, you do you.
The short answer is because the dominant virus population has changed at this point, and how it's changed is enough to where reinfections are happening, and acquired immunity from the first go 'round is spotty, to say the least. It will probably keep changing as new variants not only come into existence, but catch on in the population. This was the huge, huge folly that happened in India, and is happening again in the south east - Early Covid Catchers' acquired immunity isn't cutting it against this Delta variant. They very very very much overestimated their acquired, non-vaxxed immunity effectiveness when most of their population had covid once, and the mild strain at that. If you were to scour what had happened in March - May of India, that's the strain the US south east (in particular, though it's happening in Oregon/Washington too) is getting battered with now. I wouldn't suggest watching the on-the-ground coverage of India during the proliferation of Delta, but, like, they ran out of oxygen. Seemingly half of Florida hospitals have pretty much begged for more Oxygen and publicly say they have, as of yesterday, less than 12 hours of Oxygen to support all their patients. The long and short of it is, that there's just so little hospital space anywhere in the US for Covid patients, and that capacity has sunk many hospitals' ability to do other procedures as well. The most famous example right now is a Veteran out of like north Texas dying on the table because he had kidney stones and no hospital in like the 3 state radius had room for him. You're actually in an incredibly good position, having had early Covid with your family and came out unscathed. Previous infection + vaxxed has shown to be incredibly effective in protection. So, it's to protect yourself, to keep space open in Hospitals as they're being crushed right now. For the record, we have an incredibly, freakishly long thread on covid /vaccine information, all backed by tons of studies that are also often vetted by doctors, biologists, etc., that have been posting here for years. So like, don't be afraid to ask. If we sound really mean, it's because a lot of people we know are dead, family, friends, etc. A lot of us live in the epicenter of bad, bad outbreaks. We just don't want more people to die.
Outside of your wild outburst towards oldberg, which fuck you for by the way, you seem like a fairly reasonable person. Please man, get the shot. Not for yourself, but for the kids your wife is teaching every day and for everyone else you come into contact with. You can literally save lives, including your own, and it costs you nothing other than a drive to the pharmacy to get the thing.
