I feel like the phone is the most importal tool I use daily, might as well get it upgraded yearly with the plan, slap a apple protection plan too on that bish, and never worry.
I currently have the Xs Max, lol, and pay $30 for the lease.. I obviously haven't upgraded in awhile tho. My phone fell off my chair and the back is all cracked up, so I've just kept paying on it. 3 more payments till it's all mine! The 13 Pro Max, with the upgrade every year option, is $50 month. Woof. edit: just paid off the remainder of my device, I now own it. Wonder if I can get the 13 Max Pro through sprint.com
12 pro max Paying like $60 a month. Could ‘upgrade’ to 13 pro max for the same or not and pay $60 a month for another year and pay it off. Upgrade to 14 pro max with a … $500 value? Lowering my payment to like $30. feels like the annual upgrade plan is a major apple revenue booster.
Timing actually works out well for me because I only have one device payment left on my 11 Pro Max. So basically I am going to pay it off and upgrade and then my monthly device payment will be about the same. Plus I can sell the 11 Pro Max if I want.
There are some decent trade in deals too. All the info is on Apple.com (for real, not being a smartass).
Since my phone is damaged, I can't trade in I haven't had any problems with Sprint, but they keep trying to get me to switch everything over to T-mobile, and haven't announced anything as far as pre-orders. I should stop by their store this week and have a chat.
I do the yearly upgrade program so looking about to grab the sky blue pro max. Anyone ever had a good clear case? I generally just go black.
otterbox makes a good clear one rubber part starts to yellow a bit after awhile, but you can just replace at that point if it bothers you
Prob going to go to the Apple store by the house and see about trading in my X, broken Apple Watch and an old ass iPad.
This is much better than those asking for technical specs on a product, during or immediately after a release announcement. Answer: Place your iPhone into a depth of water at least 3 meters & leave it there for 30+ minutes.
I'm generally a spigen guy. Love their cases. Feel like they are a great value compares to the Apple shit.
Naked, always seem to get one scratch early, I think from my keys. Otherwise haven’t messed it up and get lucky the few drops I have from time to time.
I do like Spigen. My Otterbox commuter from 3 years ago finally started falling apart, so I got a $12 Spigen to hold me over until I get a new phone/case.
I wish it wasn’t all glass. If you crack the back, you’re fucked. They can’t fix just the back, unlike the screen.
Mag safe battery size is only 1460 mAh No anker has one half the price with a bigger battery. this is 5000 mAh https://us.anker.com/collections/portable-power/products/a1619 and if you need even larger batter backup. 10,000 mAh https://us.anker.com/collections/portable-power/products/a1617
Vena vCommute Wallet Case Compatible with Apple iPhone 12 / iPhone 12 Pro (6.1"-inch), (Military Grade Drop Protection) Flip Leather Cover Card Slot Holder with Kickstand - Slate Black My favorite case fwiw
Anyone who has a pro and doesn’t have a case is a monster. The way it doesn’t sit flat on a table would annoy the fuck out of me
Just now looking at it. I have the 12 in the blue and will def get the 13 in the sky blue in a month then my renewal hits.
Re: Cases Re: Screen protectors Catalyst Influence is the case I use… had the Mous Limitless, but the tapered edges that sink in the center of the phone and provide no lip/edge protection is middle of the bell curve engineering. And the super smooth back is another wtf feature. FloLab Nanoarmor is the screen protector I like the most.
I’ve had a spigen slim armor cs case for a few years now. It was like $15 on amazon. It also holds 3 cards in it. I keep my license, credit card, and work ID. It’s awesome. I haven't carried a wallet in years.
My cousin in Trinidad won’t get those cases cuz his friend got one & became impotent. His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied.
I've been using the Tech9 cases for years and am a big fan of them. Slim and great at protecting the phone.
Besides the initial wow factor of the looks of it, it doesn’t make sense to make the entire phone glass. “These mother fuckers aren’t replacing their phones often enough, so let’s make it to where it breaks often. Everyone will either have to get Apple Care+ or a new phone.” ...and I’ll buy another one, once mine craps out. You win, Apple.
I haven’t broken a phone in over 7 years and that only happened once when I had free replacement from Best Buy so I was totally careless. How often do y’all break your phone that it being glass is a worry?
I don't think I had ever broken a phone before, outside of water damage. My Xs Max was sitting on my armrest on my chair when it slipped off onto the hardwood floor. Back is all spiderwebbed now. Sprint said they couldn't fix just the back, it would have to be a whole phone replacement. I really enjoy the phone without a case. If apple+ now covers a broken back, I may go naked.
