i had forgotten he hadn’t simply told his grandma no to hold his kid. he just straight up pretended to not hear her. if i did that and my grandma passed away i would probably harbor some guilt and lash out like he is too

Nothing really to add from my end

- SIL (weighs 200lbs) is ‘eating healthy’ for the holidays so she bought about $100 in prepared food from Whole Foods that is essentially the same as what we will eat tomorrow (minus the flavor)
- BIL informed my wife that he won’t be coming down for thanksgiving because he doesn’t want to deal with the parents about all his issues/fuck ups in 2021. It’s sad but also pretty soft.
- FIL has been great since they got here in the morning.

So, essentially, this is going to be a letdown from a fireworks perspective.

 

Apparently it is going to fall on you to be the jackass at your house to produce stories for the thread. Grab some beer and get to it.

Drove down to my parents today, eating an early thanksgiving dinner then leaving the kids here tomorrow. Will pick them up on Sunday. Mom picked me up widow Jane the vaults 15 yo bourbon, which I have been sipping on.

The electric slide aunt is one of the most hilarious things I've read this year.

We're gonna have a nice little dinner tomorrow with my parents and one of my sisters, then all going to an engagement party for my other sister Friday at her future in-laws where the food will be a wood fired pizza truck. Gonna be drunk.

 

This thread has me thankful that others have fucked up families as well. Some more so.
