Shooting is not good so far tonight but the defense is keeping us in the game. Green and Mahan just missing all their threes. Auburn can’t seem to miss theirs.
Gotta put the starting lineup back out there. The 2nd and 3rd lineup isn’t getting it done right now.
Mahan and Adams have disappointed so far big time. Green has improved though. We have really good shooters but it seems like the whole team is cold or the whole team is hot. It would be okay if we had one or two hot hands at a time.
Reynolds better not get back in this game unless we get in could trouble. Like Perry when he is hitting that jumper.
After Diong it’s basically Reynolds and…Mobley? They have a 7 footer so we need the size on the floor.
They can hang with most. Need Green to get hot here in the second half or we won’t have the firepower we need to pull through.
So cold from the field and their big guy is murdering us. We can’t score much in the paint with him there and should probably stop trying.
With nobody hitting even wide open shots, our offense just looks clueless what to do. We must be shooting like 10% from 3.
That auburn team looked very balanced inside and out. Not sure what else we could have done. We went cold but auburn had a lot to do with that too. Oh well. Still think we look like a good competent team.
Auburn earned that win but we missed a dozen wide open three pointers that we normally would be making a lot of them. Just a tough night. Oh well.
Thoughts we aren’t going to win any games when Darin and Mahan are 1-20 from 3 Did none of these guys play with Tacko? They were driving foolishly at that white dude all night and he was too big and disciplined I can’t imagine many teams in the country having a big man punch as good as Walker Kessler and Smith We couldn’t get open in the 2nd half. They dominated us that 2nd half. We got things to figure out if we want to be a tournament team.
Adrian Martinez in the Portal. Seems like he might be the kind of guy Gus would like, but not sure how good he is. His years at Nebraska are confusing at best, but he has the tools if he can be protected
lol not saying I want him, just that he seems like the dual-threat type Gus would look at. I'd rather have Bo Nix if we are going that route, and you assume Gus would have him top of list.
Why are are losing so many of our athletic executives? I know success will bring opportunities but it seems excessive. Plus, Sami posted this a few weeks back
idk maybe Heupel hires but someone that came over from Auburn just quit a few days ago was Sami involved w recruiting? know she did those player interviews
Off tangent here, but just watched last weeks espn show. Gotta say that Travis Williams should probably be the guy to replace Gus if things go well. I know the defenses wasn’t fantastic to start the season but he’s got a calming, relatable demeanor and a young guy that with the right OC could cause havoc in the Big 12
Not sure how this Pepperdine volleyball team is ranked and we aren’t. Probably gonna sweep them. yeah exciting Friday night over here
Looks like we are up against #13 UCLA tonight at 10PM EDT. Speaking of UCLA, here's their star player
I worked at The Arena for about two weeks in 2007 and was a ball boy for a volleyball tournament and one of them smiled and said thank you when I tossed a ball back and that's still in my spank bank
