what do the Bucs have to play for? I assume seeding is on the line? Just nervous about them resting Gronk given his injury history
Put money down on a prop for 3 head coaches fired before the playoffs and then the Fangio news broke.
I have ML parlayed pretty much all the teams that are playing for something this weekend (including the chiefs). On a few 1H bets. But otherwise scared to bet too much and have teams pull starters
Ugh I haven't done enough research to know who has what to play for so probably not playing much this week.
Today's big Twitter angle is people betting on all these crazy incentives/records happening These people will be broke tomorrow
I quit when I was thinking about the eagles game. Absolutely zero to play for, don’t know the HC well enough and rivalry game. Went about as expected, no Hurts, second and third string in second half.
Oh I'm not betting it but I do think teams will try to get some of them for players. I think Smith broke it last night and then didn't play again. Not saying will build the entire game plan around it but will if the opportunity arises.
Oh yeah I’m sure it definitely happens when it’s realistic/obtainable, but there’s a ton of them out there like “Gronk needs 9 receptions to get his incentive for an extra $300K”. People were saying props were a lock because there’d be a 35 yard difference between the prop and what the player needed to get an incentive.
And I meant “if it was that easy…” as in if it was that easy to cash the bet everyone would be doing it or Vegas would just take the line down.
Gotcha and agree. Vegas isn't dumb and the odds account for it all. Thought you meant "if it's that easy to break a record..."
Oh yeah. I just meant the amount of tweets/people bringing up guys being somewhat close to certain incentives and betting props around that.
Futures that will cash out today: titans over wins Rams over wins Jets under wins Futures that will be wrong; cowboys under wins Futures still up in the air: bills over 11 wins (can push with a win) Colts to miss playoffs
Anyone throwing money on 0-0 final score for chargers and raiders? If colts lose they both will get in if they just kneel 15 times each.
no way they just both go out there and kneel the game out and piss the nfl off but does it really only take 30 total kneel downs to end a game?
My early games St Brown anytime scorer +175: won Colts -14: haha WFT -6 Ravens -3 Have a lot of the free boosts and bets they are all doing in NY with the roll out.
If the colts are going to shit the bed and blow up my teaser, Houston coming back beating Tennessee would be hilarious.
Although it looks like fan duel took off any bets for the raiders chargers game to go to OT or finish in a tie
I feel like tonight is one of the few times Vegas has no idea what to do. Surprised total is still at 48.
I feel like people's imaginations are running wild with the Chargers/Raiders tie scenario. If for whatever reason they tried for the tie Roger would go ape shit as would the rest of the NFL owners. Lot of twitter cappers with hot takes like "its coaching malpractice to not kneel the whole game." They forget that this is the entertainment business and the value of having eyeballs on the game is immense.
Of course roger would be incensed. But it is coaching malpractice not to play for the tie and rest your players. If Herbert gets hurt tonight, that’s malpractice.
Not trying to win a game is a much worse look. I could legitimately see coaches blacklisted if they didnt try to win this.
