Can’t stop watching it. I’m going to cry for days when John Fucking Williams assumes his place at the right hand of God herself
I pretty much place Ewan being the single best thing from the prequels by about 12 parsecs. I’m so happy we get to see more of him, even if my general preference is to branch out to non-Skywalker saga content.
Is there any chance we get some kind of live action version of the Twin Suns episode from Rebels in this show?
Heard someone make a comment that the Star Wars model now is to put out a disappointing trilogy and then spend the next 10 years releasing shows that fill in gaps and somehow makes you appreciate what you originally didn't like.
There's no shining the shit ball that was The Rise of Skywalker but I'm down with them spending a decade trying.
They don't even need to waste their time with the new trilogy and it doesn't really seem like they are even trying to yet.
that's what the Mando shows have been about. I read a pretty good theory somewhere on Reddit that those shows are doing a quasi-re-telling of the OG Thrawn trilogy (adapting it wherever they can).
It’s funny how much the SW subreddit is bitching about the grand inquisitor’s round head. I recognized him instantly, how could you not?
I would think all his interaction is with the hunters. Still think he and Obi Wan can’t meet again until ANH.
That has been my position from the beginning, that Obi Wan and Vader don't meet after Mustafar until the Death Star. I've also come to accept that no one at Disney gives a shit
Yeah not sure how they can reconcile Vader and Obi meeting after before ANH. Would just directly conflict with what is said in that movie. I would love to see it though. Maybe instead have Vader going after some other Jedi and just get to see him wreck them. But all I'm expecting are the hunters to be doing actual combat, with Vader in an administrative role.
Just watched the Clone Wars episode this AM that showed what happened to Maul after Obi cut him in half. Disturbing episode.
Cool as it would be, there is no need for a Kenobi/Maul scene. They had their closure in Rebels and it was beautiful. If anything, I'd like to see a live action recreation of that, but not something in between Clone Wars and Rebels. It's clear from Rebels that Maul had not seen Obi Wan in a long time.
It’s been out for too long now. If you haven’t seen the best writing in all of Star Wars at this point because you don’t want to watch cartoons it’s all on you.
I feel like that is an old meme. I hope Im not being the guy that posts the Hitler video in 2022, thinking it's new and hilarious. Even so, it's new and hilarious to me.
