That ain't lazy. I have several laying flat right now that need framed including a Tyler Childers Ryman Hatch Show Print. Side note: I framed my Pilgrimage poster at Hobby Lobby a month ago. They completely changed the Exhibition frame to the cheapest version they could while charging the same. It was all black wood now it's a plastic material. It was my favorite frame of theirs as I have many hanging now in that frame.
June 16-19 he’s performing at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival in Telluride, CO. Looked it up and I’m tempted to go
Seems like he will be selective festival only for a while. Keyboard guy is working on a cruise ship and merch guy is out with Brett Cobb
I saw he has a featured performance scheduled for the end of this month maybe he’ll start dropping tour dates soon
Feels weird that he’s just kind of…chilled…since releasing Country Squire. I know the pandemic stopped everything for every artist, but most started cranking out new music and such pretty quickly. Childers hasn’t so much as hinted about it (no, I don’t count an instrumental bluegrass album).
he was way worse his first show back in Montana last year and seems to put some weight back on which is good cause he was skinny as shit
The first two times I saw him he was as awkward of a dude as I've ever seen on a stage even with a guitar in his hands. The last time was January 2020 and he seemed to be more comfortable and enjoying it a lot more. I think it was also the first show in his tour with Sturgill though so that could've factored in.
First time I saw him he stared at the same spot up on the wall to his right the entire show. Awkward as hell but sounded great.
Just got an email that the festival announced him on the wrong date, now I probably can’t go, unbelievable
Used to go every year in junior high and high school. It’s a different set of characters now other than Willie.
I think he is still making music, I saw a video recently where he was in Mexico on stage performing new music
Given what most artists of his genre do, and considering his level of fame in the industry, we are quite overdue for a new record.
I have wonderful news. I can go see his new date because the day after the festival is Memorial Day so no work thank you all for hanging in there with me during the past 24 difficult hours
I'm telling ya, I saw him play on the Outlaw Music Festival tour with Willie back in the Fall and it struck me that if/when he does finally release new music, it wouldn't shock me if it's in the soul vein. I can absolutely see him totally switching things up as a kind of middle finger to the record business. Then again, we haven't even heard a rumor that he's recorded, well, anything lately or even planning on doing anything.
