are there very specific anti-drinking laws in Oklahoma, there is no other state where the borders are THAT clear except, for obvious reasons, utah. Feels like I would drink a lot if I had to live in Oklahoma
For the 2021 report, the University of Wisconsin relied on 2018 data and categorized excessive drinking as five or more drinks per occasion for men, four or more per occasion for women. THE HUMANITY!!!!
ya, it was reliant on self-reporting. I bet southern people are more reluctant to admit to drinking heavily on occasion, because of Jesus and culture and shit
Baptists really don’t talk about their drinking. And the south is inundated with people that want you to think they’re devoutly religious. Bunch of god damn liars.
Im pretty good at GIS applications but I also don’t want to have to make maps that try to both sides one-sided issues so I’ll pass.
Even just looking at a map with Europe not the center of the world really puts thing into perspective. The pacific is fucking huge.
Knew some wise ass would say this, but yeah I’d like to learn more about said forest if you have any info. I thought that spot on the map was more like high mountains
Early years (1969–1972) The original line-up was formed in Houston and consisted of Gibbons, bassist/organist Lanier Greig, and drummer Dan Mitchell. The name of the band was Gibbons' idea. The band had a small apartment covered with concert posters and he noticed that many performers' names used initials. Gibbons particularly noticed B.B. King and Z. Z. Hill and thought of combining the two into "ZZ King", but considered it too similar to the original name. He then figured that "king is going at the top" which brought him to "ZZ Top".
Reading/listening up on the Franklin Expedition to find the Northwest passage. I kind of knew the basics, like they went and disappeared somewhere up there, but that was about it. Lots of intriguing things about it. Lots of maps. Curious how the wreckage from the two ships ended up where and how they did.
Step 1: invest in Schitts Creek* Step 2: wait 7 years Step 3: ?????????? Step 4: Profit *????????? but also yes the GoT line makes me want to cry
Oh yea, that’s something to do with really high elevation which affects atmospheric pressure which cause clouds to dump their water? I read that the same thing happens in Chile. But all the moisture gets dumped on the mountains and to the west. So the area to the east of the mountains is really dry :(
