They just started doing new episodes since covid. I don't know if it's just me. But I'm already tired of the New Zealand episodes. All of the folks on those episodes are bland. Also, this is a good time to mention that any HHI episode with Floor Peijnenburg as the agent in it is a must watch for me. She's a bombshell.
Interesting. Skeptical tho because it seems something like that wouldn’t get out to the public if it was possible.
That doesn’t really matter. They’re just relaying what someone else is saying. The real question is can we trust Dr. Steele?
Yep I understand that. But if you were going to sign up to be a test subject in a human trial of senolytics, you would need to be pretty confident in the research and claims of Steele and the other doctors. So you’d def need to trust him.
Nathan Fielder (who graduated from one of Canada’s top business schools with really good grades) doesn’t recommend “the idea,” he recommends “the plan”
1. I also love Floor. 2. Best thing about NZ eps is they pronounce bedroom "beedroom." I have permanently adopted that pronunciation now to Mrs. TC's chagrin
There are a bunch of acoustic ironic and unironic rock or acoustic covers of rap songs, but you don’t see it go the other way very much. Nobody is out here rapping Thunder Rolls on YouTube.
Also -- not really a rap song, but Cee Lo Green covered Band of Horses in "No One's Going to Love You."
Working on a spreadsheet for something that is going to be a permanent record. Part of it deals with blind carbon copy emails. Got about halfway done and realized that I'd been notating these as BBCs
Yeah I agree. One of my biggest fears is being elderly and feeble. But I assume from what Dr. Steele is saying that if you started this treatment early enough then it would slow your aging. Thus giving you more time in your prime and 70 now would closer to 150 on senolytics.
Assuming everything else with society remained the same. Yeah that would suck. Granted unless you loved your job. Also more time to try different career paths. But I’m sure there’s plenty of people that would take that deal for the whole not dying part.
It's also kinda interesting that there are no rap covers by other rappers. Every other type of popular music has huge songs that get re-released years later and become big hits again with the same lyrics and song structure. I'm not aware of a single rap hit that has been covered in the same manner and released on an album by another artist. Is it because the lyrics are so personal to each artist?
I despise those sonic commercials that make it seem like it takes 3 employees working in cheerful unison to build a single hamburger or shake.
I just found out that they are opening a fancy Italian place near my house that does homemade pasta in a cheese wheel. As a huge fat guy this makes me so happy.
It irks me that single beers at the brewery are like $7 and a 6-pack of the same stuff that had to be packaged and transported is $11 at the store.
Do you expect the brewery to not try to make profits? Buy the 6pack and stay home and drink if it bothers you. Going to a brewery and being waited on / using their facilities surely isn’t an apples to apples comparison to shipping some bottles to sit on a shelf at a store imo.
Hey is AT&T 3G completely gone in the US yet or are they still working on turning down some more towers? Any TMB insiders?
