I don’t know if it’s just me but it feels like 80% of the time I’m working in Excel lately it crashes.
Just now finding out that my mom used to babysit for Strom Thurmond’s kids when she was in college. Sadly, she was looking after the boring white legitimate ones and not the secret mixed race daughter whose existence was unknown to the public until after Strom’s death.
I have Word issues sometimes at work, but seemingly only when I'm working one one particular partner's clients. He thinks I'm an idiot, the rest my of firm thinks I'm good at my job. It's hilarious to me.
just said out loud to myself, a 44 yr old man, working from home alone, “STOP FUCKING EATING” man I have these days. I used to be able to have breakfast/lunch/dinner with 2 healthy snack breaks in between but that is definitely not happening since WFH
It's probably the total organ failure that's really unpleasant in that situation. Sorry about the rupturing of many important parts of your insides.
Cleaning up the mess is worse than the massive organ failures. It' basically impossible to keep your head positioned in the sweet spot where both the vomit and blood are landing in the toilet bowl.
I should have said ‘budget’. In my household’s defense, $1900 went to a new water heater and $2100 went to the rest of our vacation rental this month ($500 of which is refundable).
A new water heater and a vacation rental seem to be planned/justified expenses as opposed to thousands of dollars over budget on shit at like Target
$3579 over budget in June 2022 for me. "Worst" month for me since as far back as I've had a "budget". Combination of - Family vacation and ran it up a bit - HOA assessment due and paid... not a surprise, expected it was coming. - Expensive a/c repair, fuck. - Two birthday parties I paid for, bit expensive more than usual - Zero windfall / extra income lol July will be better.
Noticed my buddy's neighbor watching triple D on his giant TV that faces his deck Stepped outside later and he had switched to interracial anal
Tried fried oyster (and oyster in general) for the first time. Definitely falls under the acquired taste section for me
I’m going to go back and try Clams next week. Never had that either. The place also has King Crab too
a well fried oyster that's crunchy on the outside but the oyster is basically raw in the middle is one of the best things to eat
Got a good laugh at the $500 being refundable as if that would reduce the overage. Very much in the spirit of "it's on sale, so we would have lost money by not buying it."
raw charbroiled fried all are pretty great though Smoked are wxcellent as an ingredient but not a fan of them on their own
In Orange County I can decide on a whim to go to a movie, even something opening that weekend, and have my pick of theatre/time/seat. I’m in Utah County seeing my brother and we decide to go see Top Gun. Checked at 1 and everything was sold out all day except one theatre at one time and we got the last seats.
Redfish Grill in Nola's BBQ (I would say they're closer to buffalo but alas) is one of the best appetizers in the city:
ive stayed in the hyatt thats basically over this restaurant half a dozen times and never gone here should remedy that next time
