This. Also, having a female family doctor for this check up is a plus. The male urologist I visited once had hands like Dr. J.
Voted 1 because if I wake up after about 3-4 I usually have to pee, but not always. And not always enough to get up. Maybe once or twice a week.
you know, ive considered it because i do piss constantly during the day but also its always a substantial amount and very clear so it doesnt actually seem unhealthy. probably just overhydration.
0 but I usually go to sleep at like 3-4am and wake up at 6:30ish and have to go so I'm sure if I had a normal sleep schedule I'd be taking a trip or two. I drink an absurd amount of water.
At last a thread just for me! 2 times min. But I've been a prostate patient for 15ish years. You guys passing the 40 mark, if you haven't gotten your prostate checked, you gotta get on that. At worst, you get a deeper relationship with your Dr. At best, you save your life.
could be that i suppose. family history suggests that could be my future so ive always had it checked periodically. i dont think ive had any blood work done in the last year though.
Used to several times a night but when I got my cpap it’s now zero. I think not getting a deep enough rest made me realize I had to pee but now that I sleep amazing I don’t wake up until the alarm
I had my prostate checked about 7 years ago cause I had blood in my jizz (was just an infection). Procedure was NBD. I guess I’m due for another. Should probably get colon checked as well since I’m 50 next fall.
I drink a ton of water day and night -- if I'm not pissing mostly clear I drink another liter. I'm usually at least once per night, then once again at 5-6 AM and either start my day at that point or try to steal another 1-2 hours. No other prostate-related issues. I just turned 35 and didn't have a prostate check on my radar for another 5-ish years.
I backpack and sleep a lot outside and have created a patent-pending 'pee trough.' You simply kick out a little canal, 2-3ft long x 5-6inch wide, from your tent door in a downhill direction, then you can just rollover and direct your wiener towards the pee trough without getting up or getting out of your tent. Works like a charm. We're still working through prototypes for indoor use.
I got a mouthpiece for sleep apnea about three months ago and haven’t gotten up to pee at night since. It’s a common symptom so yes check your prostate but also if you snore and are tired a lot get a sleep test boys
Depending on if I'm drinking and the number of drinks I've had, at least once, sometimes two or three times.
0 if I'm sleeping alone. 1 if I'm sleeping with the wife because I'm a crazy light sleeper and will wake up every night between 2-3 and ultimately switch beds.
I'm not advocating it - I sleep from like 3-6 ish am and from 5-8pm. Basically a bastardized siesta schedule. I have no doubt it's horrible health wise.
