Can they? Aren’t they still paying for like 3 coaches? I could have sworn they were still paying skip until a season or 2 ago
Why would the Jim want to go back? He already knows that the school has no real backing of the program
Lol. Their fans are so delusional. The offense suddenly just comes to life! Nothing at all to do with playing against 2nd and 3rd stringers once the opponent is up by 4 scores
Unemployed and living in Tampa. Feel like he wouldn’t mind kicking the tires on trying to revive the program he built.
There is no best team this year. We should all collectively decide to pretend this year doesn't exist. Its bad all over the place.
I’ve got no beef with OU but kind of glad to see DG hasn’t lost his magic touch for shitting the bed the moment he’s up against a half decent team. Fuck him and his sandbagging that he’s hurt when he’s perfectly fine.
Yep every team is average to bad. which for us in the recruiting battles may be a good thing for this cycle.
Nevermind, we don't... Didn't realize our next game is Thursday. We play 4/6 non Saturday games... Crazy
Would it even be more than a blip on the radar at this point? That program is about as irrelevant as possible at the moment. Also never forget they almost beat UF a few weeks ago in Gainesville and then proceeded to get embarrassed twice.
I feel like if the original Leavitt thing happened today no one would even notice (not just because they suck).
I assume they expect no one to come or this is going to be a mess. UCF classes and operations will continue as normal throughout the entire day Wednesday, Oct. 5, when the Knights will host SMU at 7 p.m. at FBC Mortgage Stadium in a game rescheduled due to Hurricane Ian. Employees in departments impacted by game day who have questions about how their role applies to university or game day operations on Wednesday should contact their supervisor. Game day parking will open on most of the campus at 5 p.m. Because classes and operations will be continuing throughout the entire day, there will be no game day activities on campus except around FBC Mortgage Stadium, where students and fans are invited to visit IOA Plaza for pregame festivities. Fans also are encouraged to dine at Knights Plaza restaurants. Faculty and staff who are parking for classes or campus services Wednesday are allowed to park in garage A, B or I or lot B5, B6, B9 or H4. Regular university permits will be required for those garages and lots before 5 p.m. After 5 p.m., parking in all of those lots and garages will not require a permit. Athletics Gold Zone parking passes will be required for garage F starting at 4 p.m. and garages C and D and lots C1-C3, D1-D2 and E1-E8 starting at 5 p.m. Faculty and staff may park in those lots and garages earlier in the day as long as they have appropriate university permits and move their vehicles before game day parking begins. Lot B4 will be reserved for university business. Garage H will be reserved for game day parking starting at 4 p.m. for fans who make a minimum donation of $20 to support student scholarships. Traffic flows on campus will primarily be the same as on a regular weekday. All campus entrances will remain available for traffic the entire day.
so I assume that means no tailgating either? I mean I get changing plans and keeping classes open most of the day but at some point, it's going to be a mess. Even if only 10,000 fans show up (non-students for argument sake)...thats 10K people coming on top of campus operations. That seems nuts much less if 25-30K show up.
Yeah looks like just stuff around the stadium, no tailgating. Going to be some profs that won't cancel classes too that will do something dick like a quiz.
I'm sure there'd be a lot of pushback from the academic side if they were forced to cancel classes again, after cancelling a week of classes, for a football game. It is, at the end of the day, a school.
everything about this game is a mess. Hopefully recruits don’t hold the bad attendance against us given the circumstances Once Monday classes were cancelled last minute you knew chances of a Wednesday half day was over
Considering what happen, I think this will be the worst attendance of any game since we have had an on campus stadium
What about the winless year students aren’t bad tonight all things considered. They are just split into 2 sections
My Uber eats driver hasn't moved in 30 minutes... Definitely got pulled over or on an accident. So I'm gonna be doing hangry posting all first quarter
Didn’t even go to the game tonight. Didn’t want to deal with the traffic and kind of felt dirty for going to a game when people still have their homes underwater a couple miles away
It had to be the end of that winless year in 2015. We had entire sections with a single person in them dancing the boot scootin boogie
