So teaching that religion shouldn't be taught in public schools is now a religion and he will use the establishment clause to crack down on it. Cool. Cool.
There was a vendor I spoke with for a couple hours several months back. He was obsessed with talking about the electrical grid and how easy it was to take it out. He looked like an alt-right and I didn't really realize attacking the grid was a thing up until recently. Do I report this guy?
FIAT currency being a Jewish plot is a new one for me. But it definitely tracks. Makes sense why so many chuds and ‘libertarians’ are gold bugs
Why do they hate the power grid again? It’s hard to keep up. I know the original was due to a drag show, but has this spread for other reasons, aside from batshit craziness?
to bring about the race war, of course. (no seriously, this is the reason) edit: https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/thre...terial-support-plot-attack-power-grids-united
Well he ended with the commie lib sentiment of “contact your House representative” rather than “be a corporation and flood donations” so yeah.
My kid was watching this when I got home, it also features an openly gay non binary character who was dressed as Pocahontas (makes sense in context)in the episode I saw. it’s also pretty funny.
a response I received for framing this as a good clip: Not about truth vs. lie. It’s about strengthening the case for reparations by creating a narrative that if you disagree with anything that is said or disagree with anything that might be proposed then you are pro-slavery and racist. I only had to scroll down to the first comments to see someone give their opinion only to be met by “you’re pro-slavery with triggered snowflake feelings.” We as a nation should absolutely teach everything about slavery, without any withholding or sugarcoating to make it easier to digest. I have no problem with teaching that subject raw to kids older than elementary. I draw the line once it becomes subjective, especially as it pertains to our current times. There is a truth in there that involves a system not designed to favor those of color but you cannot convince me that we live in this imaginary world where white supremacy is the underlying problem with everything from climate change to COVID to crimes that don’t involve anyone white. That right there is not born of white supremacy it’s born of a generation of people who have been raised to neglect responsibility for anything and have been taught to believe that everything bad that happens to them is the fault of something else. So when you think about it all this does is try and teach children of color to identify as victims which could in turn cause them irreparable damage as far as how they approach school, sports, careers, lives etc. I’m not denying that there is traceable amounts of issues that would allow to consider them victims of a system not designed to favor them, just that it’s damaging to create this type of mindset in our youth. It causes unnecessary division and is potentially harmful to them in their journey into adulthood if they’re trained to look at every white person as someone who was unfairly given better opportunities and some even as far to look at them as enemies. I only find solace in knowing that there are so many out there both black and white who both understand what we came from yet live our lives taking personal responsibility and loving others regardless of any race, sex, religion etc. The problem is peace and love doesn’t sell. Chaos and hate are far more entertaining and the media continue to be the biggest unchecked dealers on the block.
Proud Family: “Only we can free ourselves” Genius: “Obviously this clip teaches black people to neglect responsibility and embrace a victim mentality.”
Yeah I have no idea what "personal responsibility" had to do with it. How is demanding some semblance of justice either of the things the cartoob said?
His response is a great example of someone that’s been absolutely bathed in racist messaging but doesn’t even realize it. Also, “white supremacy” isn’t just Nazis and Klan and their shared mentality. It’s an objective measure of outcomes and America is a machine that has been built to reliably turn out white supremacy since its inception.
Like i get it, throwing around "personal responsibility" like that is typically meant as "i dont want to hear any uncomfortable complaints and budging on it means 'i lose.'"
Funny thing is the guy working the 11/12 hour shift could easily have a beer or two or maybe even 6. The BAC threshold was .12 back then.
going to guess old boy's definition of a "hard day's work" involved pounding Bud heavies Lone Star sporadically throughout his shift to stay hydrated tho
People saying personal responsibility who are getting to erase and already ultra whitewashed history is ironic.
