DrTomOsbourne Here are some airbnbs within walking distance or a 3-4 min Uber on those dates. https://www.airbnb.com/s/Tampa--Flo...zoom_level=15.537571229461305&map_toggle=true
You south Tampa people seeing any flooding? I’ve seen some pics of Estrella and westshore under water
Few blocks off Bayshore/Howard and nothing really here, lost power for about 15 minutes this morning that’s it.
I'm curious as to the number of Bama fans that show up. The stadium was completely sold out when UF played there 2 years ago and it was basically a Gator home game.
they’ll stop getting those games if/when they build the on campus stadium, visiting teams know it is an in season Bowl Game atmosphere playing there
They could still hypothetically get them if they agree to have game against more premier programs at Ray Jay. I know we were requesting to play at Camping World Stadium when setting up a future series with UCF.
Ehh retractable roofs aren’t really that great for baseball anyways. You’re leaving that thing closed for all of your games during the summer Location kinda sucks but where else was it going to go? Everybody wanted Tampa but nothing ever worked out
You can have the roof open most nights the first 6 weeks of the season and have natural grass . Dome only kind of sucks
Quick google search tells me you're referring to an apartment complex. I learned in law school that the best answer to virtually any question is "it depends", it's obviously pretty close to the Gandy Bridge which is convenient if you've gotta go to St Pete. In terms of going out in Tampa whether downtown, Vinikville, Ybor, Soho, etc it's not the most convenient but still pretty accessible. It certainly isn't a bad area.
Was posted in mass shootings but yeah scary regardless, been in Ybor a bunch but not till last call. They caught the guy but just so scary.
Ybor gets a bad wrap imo. Sucks that this will probably dampen their hospitality industry heading into the holiday season.
Nothing you said is false. When I've gone there I do try to get out way before last call and every bar/club empties onto the street. My understanding is pre-internet and focus on shootings this wasn't that uncommon, just sucks for everyone who goes there trying to have a good time no bs.
Wasn't too bad in Pasco, just steady rain all day. I too am moving, but for financial reasons as opposed to weather.
I don’t have to worry about snow flooding into my house causing tens of thousands of dollars in damage for 6 months a year.
I’ll take that risk over my house flooding, almost flooding or being damaged in some way by hurricanes 6 times since I moved to Tampa.
It was there or North Carolina. My wife loves Colorado. My oldest begged to move to Colorado last year and we have a lot of friends in Denver already. Lived in the south east my entire life as well so ready for something new. I also prefer the cold to the miserable heat of summers here.
