Well my first cat, which is also the first pet I've had since I was like a kindergartner, has had her thyroid problems flare up. Around an estimated 15-years-old, down to weighing less than 7 pounds after growing up to be around 10 pounds. I suppose I have to accept the reality she is officially in her final stages now What have y'all done in the past for your cat as far as burying them goes? I want to do something more dignified than just digging a whole in the ground and tossing her in there.
We had to put one of ours down a few weeks ago. First, really sorry you're going through it. But our vet offered two types of cremation - one where they would basically just put them in with other animals and they dispose of everything, or they could do a solo cremation. We opted for the solo because I didn't think we were doing right by them to just throw them in with a bunch of other animals and then going straight to the trash. All in it was just shy of $200 for everything.
Tut has been on a killing spree, in the last week he has brought us… 1 adult rabbit 4 chipmunks 2 birds Here he is proudly displaying a gray squirrel he brought into the laundry room a few weeks back…he was barred from house access and promoted to full time outside cat after this incident.
I’m hoping he’ll kill these moles that have been turfing up the lawn… can’t believe he took down a big ass rabbit…
We are at the peak of the season where they want to be outside and fuck around in the yard but it's also rainy so they want to go in/out every 20 minutes
I kneeled in the yard Sunday and showed Tut the mole tunnels. I found one dead mole on Monday and another today…plus a chipmunk…
excellent windows for the cats - windows is huge for me when it comes to choosing places to live simply for the cats pleasure
Yeah, they beg to go out on the porch constantly but it gets too damn hot for all of us in the summer. I typically work with the door open during spring/fall and they have free roam. Also got some really good bird feeder windows for them in the back.
