yeah, I try to stay at Ceasars casinos, the only time i venture off to a MGM casino is at Aria when I want something different
I go to Bellagio for $5 BJ during the day, and I like Cosmo, but I usually just go for the Pizza place. Other than that all my gambling is either downtown or CET
Went to the Bank this summer on a Friday night. Got in free with the club host and ladies had open bar (which they passed off to us). Check out www.jackcolton.com for hookups.
Ghost Bar does an all you can drink deal at the Palms for like $80-100 depending on the night. Think it lasts for 3 or 4 hours. It's a really cool location on top of the palms and has a great view of the strip. Would recommend for someone contemplating bottle service but not sure they want to drop the money
On the tab or cover? Also, seems like you can get a solid deal if you go through some of the private/attached towers vs getting a room at said hotel. MGM was one I've looked at. Is that usually smart?
Clubs don't usually comp because they are owned and operated by other companies like Light Group or N9ne Group. But you can call ahead to club hosts and almost always avoid cover. Drinks are another story. Look at bottle service if you have a big group. The cost divided will usually come out to a regular cover/tab plus you get VIP and a table. Also you can get sloshed in the casino for free before during and after
Thinking about going to a club, but I heard your best bet is bottle service if you'll be there all night cuz drinks are expensive as fuck. Any recommendations? I checked out that website with the club guys contact info on there so I might see what that's about. I doubt me and my friends have like $600 to throw down for a bottle I could buy for $60 at the liquor store
But you're saving yourself from buying $20 drinks, plus you get a table for the night. Divided 4 or 5 ways with the $50 regular cover you're definitely getting bang for your buck. Its usually vodka 1L plus whatever mixers you want including redbull. Plus a waitress assigned to you. And you can give girls drinks, etc. Much more baller status than being an average Joe in the club. Bought 2 RVBs and a malibu and coke $64. Nuts.
I dont care if I win the Powerball and never have to worry about money for the rest of my life. I refuse to pay $50 cover and $20 drink anywhere.
go three times a year for softball tourneys first weekend of march madness is hands down the best weekend to go for a sports fan love the foundation room at mandalay hard rock fucking blows
lol pretty much on the same level as Gaknight..I might do it, but not sure if I wana drop that cash. Even if I didn't get VIP I wouldn't get a drink there. I'd just pregame hard and leave when I want to drink more. Would rather spend that money on gambling. Plus when everyone gets drunk it's like ah shit we're out guess we better get another then your tab is 2 grand and we're all making the FUUUUU rage face
my cousin stays at the Wynn and goes to XS. him and friends get a vip table for 5k . all hot sluts get brought to them. I envy his lifestyle
That club I got in for free. Ordered the drinks expecting them to be expensive, but not $23 and $18. Getting hammered in the casinos on comped drinks is the way to go if you want to go cheap. You can come in and out as you please most places. Tip the waitres a 5 to bring a double, drink it down and head back in.
Really want to go for MM I've been to the Foundation Room and my brother and I were seriously the youngest guys there by 10 years, but so many fine girls.
Btw anyone do the great race to rewards? Swapped TR card with other people from other message boards and got $600 free comp dollars to use. Pretty sweet deal IMO
it's fun if you go right after drinking 3ish liters of beer at hofbrau haus, plus a few swigs of goldschlager, then proceed to win $100 playing video roulette
That will make anywhere fun. All the hipsters and young rich party crowd moved to the Palms and Cosmo I think. Even the Real World couldn't drum up business for them.
damn..5 grand?! I wish I could just stroll in and I'll prob take ab a grand with me for gambling/food/entertainment. I don't want to spend that much, but that's what I'm willing to risk this time. Seems like one night at a club would take half of that
I mean I could really spend probably two, but I don't want to. I don't go crazy on roulette or BJ. Usually 5, 10, 20 bets, but if I'm real drunk I'll start throwing 50 out there. Not a high roller at all lol I'll be there 4 days. Last time I took less than that and was fine so
I dont know how I could survive in vegas w/ only a grand, I took 3k for 3 days last time I was there and my parents wired me 500 for my birthday present because I ran out. even though on my second night I was up 2500 with my last 100. Started at the 100min craps table first roll was a7 and walked away then went to the 15min table, had two people roll for 30 minutes and got up to 600. then went to the 25min table and got up to 2500 and then started losing and walked away with 500, then went to the roulette table and blew that in five minutes. i was furious how I didnt walk away when I was atleast up 2k.
yeah 12hours of drinking and the culmination of that. I still had a blast and thats what its supposed to be though so im not mad about it
Foundation room is awesome. If you're looking for a sneaky way to get up there, have dinner there. The food is fucking fantastic.
Probably should be mentioned since I haven't seen it yet but make sure you are signed up for a rewards card wherever you play, and you use it when you can (usually 25min and up card tables, any craps table and any slot machine). Build up your comps. Find out what else you can use it for. TR for example allows you to put it down when you purchase food or make a sports bet.
Pretty sure I have a TR card from last time. I don't know where it is though. You can get a card from anywhere right? Not even if you stay there
Yes, and they can reprint your card if you've had one before. I've got 5 or 6 Players Club cards lying around from over the years. Vegas is a whole new ballgame once you start getting comped for stuff and your room is free.
some people probably say I do, but I dont drink when I play poker and only goto vegas once a year and maybe biloxi once a year so its funtime for me to blow some disposable cash
Fair enough, but you can see in your story where you could have saved a ton of money right? If you want to just gamble for the sake of gambling, stick to the $10 craps table. If that can't scratch your itch... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XtLXGQu-OF4
lol if I got up 2500 I would most likely put 2000 of it away and just use the rest. but I don't gamble hundreds at a time so when you're doing that I can see how you would want to keep going
Last trip I took $1200, had a little luck and left down 600 after food, drink, gambling, etc. Ended up with $4k of coin through for 5 days off of that $600.
I don't usually go to the buffets or nice restaurants, although I might hit up a restaurant this time. Last time I went to the buffet at Cosmo and it was like $35 & the food was just decent not great. I can never eat enough to justify going to a buffet.
I've been meaning to go to Bellagio's went there when I was 16, they had all you can eat king crab legs, beef wellington and creme brulee. it was literally the best meal I had ever had
dayne I'm staying at imperial palace this time.. Nole I was hoping for shit like that I would gladly pay that type of money for that stuff. They didn't have any of that at the Cosmo buffet they had some prime rib that was alright and like marrow. I don't know if you've ever had bone marrow but it's fucking disgusting
How much money do you have to spend on a nice dinner. Give me an idea of the most you'd pay for a meal (cocktail/wine included).
shit man I don't know. I haven't exactly set my budget yet. I wouldn't mind dropping 30-50 on a dinner. Maybe more.
