08 was miserable. Throw in the fact that I was wifed up and her drunk ass sister sat with us...that game was the worst.
wait how the fuck old are you killr? or are you one of those who got married way young anomalies that almost only happens in the South types?
I was never married, engaged at one point, but came to my senses and ended it. She was the worst. Narrowly avoided that massive mistake.
I think I've been since '03. As for this weekend, still not sure where I'm tailgating. Getting out there early but I'm not driving, which is great since I don't have to be responsible for anything.
Been dating same person for almost eight years. P sure I out kicked my coverage. Those feels, I don't know them. .......yet
Went to 08 as well. Just a miserable game all the way around. The weather sucked, game sucked (it was obvious we quit) and top it all off, I went with my g/f of the time and found out she was cheating on me at the game. Well kind of found out, the Outback Bowl a few weeks later confirmed it.
No, she was acting aloof before the game, we had been having problems. (Basically the relationship was over but neither would quite let it go.) Then during it I saw her text my co-worker that she couldn't wait to see him back home in Columbia after the game. Well I was going back with my buddies to Gaffney, and then heading to Columbia the next day. Well I question her about it for weeks, and she denies everything. And I had already purchased the Outback Bowl tickets and we decide to go with a bunch of her friends. Well we go down in the middle of the night to avoid traffic on I-95 for New Year's. Y'all were also playing in Jacksonville that same day, so the traffic was a clusterfuck. Well she thought I was asleep in the backseat and she proceeded to tell her friend about her and my co-worker and hooking up. I was beyond crushed. I call her out on it a few hours later, and then the whole weekend was literally hell on earth. She tried to hang out with me and him at the same time. I was in love and couldn't see what was really going on. I make sure she knew when we got back that I didn't want to ever speak to her again. Moral of the story, don't trust bitches. Well until you find the right one like the one I have now. Minus her being a UGA grad. EDIT: see Iron Mickey
Yeah, it was terrible, we had been dating for almost three years. What was worse is that I had to work with both of them. So I was constantly reminded of what happened. But in the long run that was the best thing that could have happened. It made me get over her quicker. I end up going out a lot with my friends, meet new people. She goes on to date him, and they are getting married soon. Me and her are now friends again. It took a long time, but she ended up realizing how fucked up the situation was felt worse then I ever expected. It killed her to know how bad she had hurt me and what not because we did love each other at one point. So she went out of her way to regain a friendship with me. It still bothers me, but I try to forget it.
yeah fuck all of that. i couldn't remain friends with someone who betrayed me like that. you should have broken your coworker's nose too imo
Yeah it was tough for a while, but we really were best friends at one point. And for me once she realized how she really fucked up, basically lost her shit crying in the middle of 5 Points seven months later, I kind of forgave her. Not completely, but we call each other every once in a while to see what's up. And the co-worker was kind of a boss. So I couldn't really do that.
fair enough. i have a hard time forgiving people though. i'm pretty petty i guess. glad you got closer though
Becoming friends with her is a good way to get in close to her and earn her trust Spoiler in order to chop her head off
I get it. I will say the whole "girlfriend spills cheating stories while I sit in the backseat" deal is perfect for the stupid shit my gf/wife does thread.
The thing with a Clemson/SC game is no matter who is the better team or who has a better record, you can throw it out the window. If SC was healthy I think it would be alot closer of a game. With Shaw, Clowney, and Ellington hurt, I think they can make it a game for the first half. I think Clemson pulls away easily in the second half. Final score Clemson 48 - SC 27. On a side note, it's funny that alot of the SC media are predicting them to win, yet most of my Gamecock friends don't think they have a chance. Most of them are already conceding defeat.
