It was some special brew I believe, after that I don't know. But overall I agree with you on their normal brews. Good, but not mind-blowing.
welp.. UPS denied the first level claim about the package that was lost/stolen for pratyk The Office Depot I sent the package from escalated the claim to a second level apparently and now I wait again for a response. Fuck UPS... they denied the claim because based on their driver's actions, he delivered the package and left it at the front door, so its considered delivered and not lost to them. Soooooo they can leave it in the middle of the street for example, scan it delivered, take off, and whatever happens - happens to the package and theyre off the hook?!?!! FUCCKKKK DAT!
Not to harp on the subject I found this on Sierra Nevada's website regarding porters and stouts: http://www.sierranevada.com/beer/high-altitude/narwhal-imperial-stout
Zack Zedalis , Whole Foods just called and said they have Black Note and selling one bottle at a time...I'm trying to decide if you're worth it...
Yep once they leave it then its not their fault. They left my wife's nursing textbooks on the sidewalk while it was pouring down rain. It was $600 worth of books that were completely soaked through and ruined and they told her it wasn't their problem.
what fuckin asshole does that... places a package in the rain!?? Man fuck them.. my buddy is a package loader at UPS and I asked him to check if there are other avenues I can take in getting my/pratyk's package paid for somehow. Pisses me off that they arent responsible somehow! This isnt the first time and wont be the last that UPS leaves a package somewhere, visible or not, and it gets lost or stolen.

Doh! Really? Hmmm...wife is taking me out for a surprise V Day dinner on Saturday. Maybe I surprise her by taking her to the Saucer afterwards.
Thinking about flying down there for data collection. Doing my dissertation on brand equity in the craft beer scene.
Today was a lovely day at the cdaysker household. I arrived home to find not one, but two, packages and they both had my name on em! First haul is courtesy of OZ . I've never had any of these, but they all look damn good. I'm most excited to try the tricerahops and hop lava. Second package was from the only person older than OZ on the board, none other than Zack Zedalis Thank you both so much, I'm gonna be druuuuuunk this weekend! PS - ZZ, I'm starting to think that Bitches Brew doesn't exist
Would be more than willing to consume any and all craft beers and report back with my findings. It's all in the name of education after all.
Yes, and then some of you may one day be anonymously quoted (for your protection) in the Journal of Consumer Research. Be excite!
This week will be insane. http://tampabaybeerweek.com/events I think I'll start with some Hopslam at the WoB down the street since I drank all mine. Then the Brewers Guild Beer Fest in Ybor. Hopefully hit up Eggs & Kegs the next day at CCB and partake in some fine Bell's and CCB. The Brewer's Ball After Party that night maybe? Then of course Hunaphu Day the following weekend with the Beer in the Park event later that night. Just going to be a sloppy week.
Was able to get two more bottles of Black Note today. It's like I haven't even touched that 4-pack you gave me, IGetBuckets .
Is Lagunitas Sucks hard to get? I haven't seen it, but also haven't really looked for it. I definitely want to try it though.
Yeah, sorry. I should have made the second part a different post. I knew you weren't going to crack that open immediately, I was just asking around.
Fuck UPS. I'm going to take all my business to Fedex now. I might have to lift 20 pounds for half a mile longer but Id do it! Thanks perroh
I realized you were asking other people, I was just saying I was going to age mine a few years just because
I have one sitting in the cellar as well. The beer store I go in Michigan still has some if you want one/don't have one marcus.
Heads up to you and other SoCalers. Ninkasi has recently invaded Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. Showing up in bottles and on draft all over, I'm hearing it will be arriving in San Diego area soon as well.
