Bo Jackson and Marcus Dupree have been my favorites

 

This discussion is too general for my taste

 

I watched a 30 for 30 on general tsos chicken the other day

 

One of the 2 or 3 best ones from this series and I don't like soccer at all.

 

From the first set:

Hillsborough - 30 for 30 soccer one I think a lot of people missed

 

For homer reasons Youngstown Boys was one of my favorites but I do think it was well done.

Two Escobars is the best

Bo one I didn't think was at the same level but because Bo was my favorite athlete as a kid I enjoyed it a ton

Thought all the others I listed were really good except maybe Survive and Advance, that one is more that I've always been fascinated by that run they made

 

I missed the Hillsborough one but know the story so want to watch it, think it may be on Netflix.

Definitely agree with the top 2 though

My wife had never watched one with me until Benji. She made me promise to her before we started the Bo Jackson doc that he was still alive

 

Most of them are pretty great. Some I've really enjoyed...

Do it. I hate soccer too but it was a great watch. I'm in the same boat as Corch.

 

I saw it before I was really into soccer, barely watched and I loved it

 

Esbobars is easily the best...I was let down by Bo's but maybe that's because it wasn't original material for me. Bo, Barkley, and The Big Hurt shat all over You Don't Know Bo imhv

 

It's not really about soccer so that's pretty irrelevant

 

I watched it and was able to separate and say to myself I really like this and it's one of my favorites but that is because the subject is Bo and not because it's one of the better quality ones

 

It's not mainly about soccer but it plays a role in the film. Fantastic either way.

 

They're pretty much all on Netflix.

By the end of the week I will probably watch Hillsborough and rewatch Best There Never Was, Two Escobars and Benji.

Maybe knock out Hillsborough and Benji same day and have all the feels

 

The Two Escobars, Once Brothers, Pony Excess, The Marinovich Project and No Mas are my personal favorites. So many good ones though.

 

Rand University is near the top of my list

 

The U was highly overrated

 

The Hillsborough one is up there with the best of them. I thought it was incredible and pretty tragic

 

Roll Tide/War Eagle had to be the worst one for me. Everything was fresh and I really didn't learn much.

 

Fall lineup looks to be pretty good...forget wat they are though

 

It was terrible...could've done something on the interesting history of the rivalry but they turned it into a retard fest of finebaum callers

 

They only announced 4 of the subjects so who knows how good the lineup is

• The rivalry between Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield
• Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll
• The Buffalo Bills’ four consecutive Super Bowl losses in the ’90s
• And golf pro John Daly, who confirmed his participation in the series via Twitter on Thursday.

 

Straight Outta LA sucked imo. Was expecting a lot more and left disappointed.

 

All could be good, not really interested in Carroll

Daly one has the potential to be great

 

The Bills' one is going to be soul crushing...I can't even imagine that

 

They have to get Scott Norwood on that. Man thats going to be tough to watch.

 

Yeah I was just thinking more along he lines of where the unnamed ones fit in. Are these the 4 best/most interesting ones?

 

Don't get me wrong though, they've done a great job so far and even if those are the most interesting ones up front in their minds I am sure I'll still be pleased

Thought it was really well executed and has to be the craziest day in sports history.

 

Pony Excess and Two Escobars were the best. After that some combo of June 17, Best That Never Was, Rand U, Hillsborough, and Laettner.

 

They don't even have scheduled dates yet they will air for the next set. I'm sure they'll promote them plenty. One of the most recent was I Hate Christian Laettner and they promoted that a ton

 

They showed commercials for that space one for like a week beforehand. They definitely hyped up some more than others but that's to be expected, stuff like the Baltimore band and fantasy football were stupid.

 

Hey can just say the obvious and that's that playing for the bills gave him cancer

 

Multiple people in the program have said they are filming one on Colorado and the build up to the national championship team in the late 80's. Sal Aunese, Nebraska games, recruiting inner city LA. Biased, but Im psyched for this.

 

Don't know if the Hillsborough one was technically a 30 for 30 but that was definitely one of my favorites
