Wonder if LSU will get in a big buyout fight with a coach who won them a national championship my bet is this ends horribly for everyone Hold that tiger tho
Man, Cincy fans are going to be mad their coach left. I found out they are still mad at Brian Kelly and he’s been gone long enough to become the all time winningest coach at Notre Dame.
I just want to say that every time I see this thread bumped, I think it’s a thread about Edward James Olmos until I open it.
No. That number includes the premiums they paid on a key man life insurance policy they have on him. Often, the family is a co-beneficiary on those. So, they'd get their premium payments back (and whatever amount of loss they incurred from his death) and the family would get the rest.
I don't think he would even seek it out. He's waiting for Bama or something out west I would imagine, unless Florida or Florida State entices him, but I don't know if they do.
Right, I agree with that, though I'd argue he probably doesn't want either. I only mentioned it because he might think the appeal of coaching one of the big schools in Florida would be too enticing to pass up, even if FSU is a dumpster fire right now.
Man, not even Arkansas burned through two coaches in four years. I'm legit shocked he did not work out there. He seemed like hot shit coming out of Memphis and was the coach I wanted Arkansas to hire.
I meant to say isn’t, and I’m not ready to give up yet but it’s not looking great unless he pulls a rabbit out of his hat and fires a few coaches. Travis hunter/aj Duffy probably saving his ass right now
If that’s true I fully expect Franklin’s name to be linked to every CFB, NFL, CFL and MLS head coaching job which eventually leads to a large extension for him
