I thought USC should have hired Coach O. Not sure I felt the same way about LSU, but if there ever was a coach that fit LSU perfectly it's him, culturally speaking.
Please note the thread icon is not indicative of who I think is being named. I merely couldn't find the LSU one on mobile. Thank you and god bless and go New Orleans Pelicans.
Seems like they didn't really have many options besides giving him a shot until someone better comes along
How is it coaches that completely fail keep getting more chances. Best job security is to be a bad football coach
Over/Under immediately drops to 3 years LSU just made the emotional decision. Not the intelligent one.
Disagree. OM isn't a good program and was even worse when he was there. We've seen their ceiling the past 3 years. That was also a decade ago. Things change, and he's taken over 2 programs mid season since then and made them better. Obviously it's not a home run hire. I just don't think what he did at OM is relevant to how he will do at LSU.
Mid season results should never, ever matter. That's not your team, and you're playing with nothing to lose.
Lol at thinking their success hinges on Lane Kiffin Saban will bring in another phenom and they won't miss a step
As a Bama fan, I love the hire. But as we can already see, we have to deal with Kiffin rumors for the next month as we try and win a title.
I'm sure there are plenty but doesn't mean they will have the success at bama that kiffin did with he offense and qbs
