Shotgun Start was saying that there are rumors about everyone floating, and he'd follow up with people and they'd call them bullshit. Probably a lot of agents/LIV floating shit out there.
Might get a delay soon. First cell doesn’t look to be a concern, and the second one looks like the heaviest stuff will move to the south, but still looking like a nice shower. Hopefully it’s a short one
Went yesterday and had a great time. The Country Club may be my favorite private club I’ve walked. From the course to the grounds to the clubhouse and architecture. It was phenomenal. Great New England feel. The course looks like an absolute blast to play if you have some skill. I also love how they are using pieces of all three 9 holes to create a worthy US Open course. Just really well done. cmon Rory
espn's leaderboard showed weather at 84 degrees when i last looked ~30 minutes ago and 73 degrees now. is that accurate?
No clue. I know that 2 big cells blew through south of the golf course so that could have brought in a bunch of cooler air?
this broadcast has been bad. I feel like all they are showing is putts and they just keep randomly throwing to players outside of the cut line. Like I think they are going to show a hole in one or something but nope we just thought you needed to see this random amateur putt for par at (+10).
Pictures don’t do the elevation nor slope justice. Spoiler Was also really cool, the deer were all over the place.
NBC does this stupid thing in majors where they say "and with that we have shown a shot from every player in the field" like we give a fuck.
Its always been a us open thing, not a network decision. I think it’s a nice touch but can understand that it can really interfere with the flow of the broadcast
Sunset up there is a little after 8. I wonder why they are starting the leaders at 3:45. That just seems cutting it close
I may be totally out of my mind but I’m pretty sure it was light until damn near 9 on Wednesday night.
it feels like they go live for putts from guys that aren't really in it, whereas most PGA coverage they already know what happened and only show something significant after the fact
