I mean, they gave him Mike McCarthy for most of his career. Not sure how much more wronged you can do.
This has been going on for much more than a year, and they fucked Rodgers over so badly by drafting a QB instead of a WR that he threw 48 TDs and 5 INTs while playing behind a good OL with one of the best running games in the league. The horror.
Without even a heads up, and from all indications, a GM that went rogue with that decision. If Rodgers got a heads up, whatever it’s all in his court. You take the best talent you ever had and indicate you’re done after a year or two and it’s obviously going to piss a person off. I don’t get how people can’t see that. yes, it makes him petty as shit, and I totally can see most people doing the same damn thing.
Bad faith much? They could have gone to the Super Bowl. Maybe getting FUCKING ZERO PRODUCTION from their first round pick made a difference. And it’s not like Rodgers has been asking to leave until now.
They shouldn't have taken Love. It was stupid then. It's stupid now. I'm not defending it. I just think that a lot of this comes from Rodgers knowing he's got the media in his back pocket and they'll take his side no matter what, and it's always been strange to me that there are so many people who are invested in defending someone whose performance has never needed to be defended.
Why hasn't he spoken to his parents in a decade? I can't imagine not speaking to mine for a week, much less a decade. But I'm a momma's boy so, idk
I think the team being pussies and kicking a FG cost them a SB berth more than not getting any production from a 1st rd pick. If you are great team you shouldnt rely on a rookie that much
I think it’s weird people are making a big deal about any part of it. It’s not going to be Trebek...who cares who it is?
Producer was great. Producer also won’t bring ratings. My wife records and watches every episode, she hates ‘Dr.’ Oz and mostly liked Rodgers. She really liked the producer and has had varied opinions on the rest. Katie C. she also really liked.
Well, personally, the Price is Right is also a much more involved host role. I mean, you’re just reading answers and tell people if they’re right and wrong on Jeopardy. Trebek’s occasionally snark was the perfect addition to it. But, hot take, Trebek would SUCK as the host of Price is Right
Yep. In the age of player empowerment, the reigning mvp qb is king. Watson, Wilson and Rodgers all saw brady win a SB as the QB AND the offensive coordinator If you are stupid enough to publicly humiliate a all time great qb who harbors grudges by trading up for a project qb , you should probably learn your place.
Gutekunst looking at him like A-Rod banged his wife. Or he’s a huuuuge Danica Patrick fan. Or Aaron’s just as big of an asshole as everyone thinks he is lol.
Brees’ mother committed suicide 12 years ago which makes having a relationship rather tough, but they were estranged for several years before her death
Yeah, I don’t see the no relationships with parents as a big deal. Maybe the parents were shit bags, greedy or some other shit. Shouldn’t have anything to do with football. Doesn’t matter whose fault it is.
I know he has a thread but I never read it. Or if I did it was long long ago and it wasn’t impressionable at the time. Is it worth a read?
honestly the shittiest opinions, he probably fired Whitlock for being too rational and his wife used to hook up with Eddie George
That's at least part of it https://people.com/sports/aaron-rod...comments-on-religion-as-their-feud-continues/
whelp I will take no more slander of Aaron Rodgers in this thread moving forward, can definitely relate to feeling like you just have to go, and my parents wouldn’t even disown me
His dad was a regular on the Cal insider board back in 2003-4. Seemed okay to me, but you could tell later in the 2004 season that the family was frustrated that Aaron wasn't being showcased enough (might have had something to do with four WRs and the top TE being injured)
I tend to think if the situation really was on life support that they would have picked up the phone when the team with the #3 pick in the draft called. Or maybe they think if they hold their ground he won't go through with retirement and that buys them one more year. I don't buy for a second that this has anything to do with Jake Kumerow.
Goat, presumably Rodgers, left out on a cliff is what I took it as, also could be him just fucking around
