Bought my first pair of Bonobos pants a few weeks ago, the tailored stretch chinos, they're great. Should have heeded Fancy Pelosi and KJROD20 's advice and done this years ago.
Shitty picture, but it’s the best exterior shot I have. Needs a whole lot of work on the inside, can’t wait to do some before/after shots. We close in two weeks.
The previous owner is approaching 90, listed it through Craigslist. HVAC and roof are less than 5yrs old (and judging by the SEVEN ceiling fans in this 1,200 square foot house, I don’t think she ever used the AC...)
Thx. Really looking for pants that resist wrinkling in that area. I might as well not even iron or steam if I’m driving.
I got some Docker’s stretch pants that keep pretty straight after wears. Can’t recall the style but it’s similar to bonobos. I’ll post tomorrow. The Blackfish meant to tag Josey Wales whoops
The tow belt from Saddleback. Have had both mine for five years. Got one for my dad around that time too. Said it's the best belt he's ever owned. https://saddlebackleather.com/leather-tow-belt
I had already looked at the Tow Belt, but they are out of my size, and I thought Saddleback was out of favor in this thread due to changes in Leather acquisition and pricing. I still love the wallet I bought back in 2010 or so.
I know they are a bit more casual, but I wear a Patagonia tech web belt every day for the last 5+ years. Have a couple colors and rotate through. They hold up well, good quality, don’t bleed when you sweat, zero issues. Edit: I bought a few 5+ years ago that have held up fine. They changed how they made the buckle a few years ago, granola munchers freaked out, and now they are back to making it the old way, so I’ve read. So I would buy them from Patagonia.com or backcountry, etc because some of the discount sites may still have the old style.
If you're looking for accessories your best option is Express. No its Not gay to add stylish accessories to your wardrobe. Purchase one of those leather fossil watches black or brown (75.00 each). Add a few clean bracelets (15-40.00). Purchase 2-3 necklaces with unique pendants (doesn't have to gold/silver, 20-50.00 each Don't know if you have hair or not but go to a salon and have a female advice you on what haircut style will fit you best. Then go to your local gym and sign up. Work out 3-5 times a week if possible. The last thing you gotta buy is that family pack of trojan condoms from costco cause you're going to be banging chicks left and right. Good luck
I disagree here. DC humidity wrecks me and I have to wear an undershirt or else I end up way too sweaty.
I have too many belts. My Saddleback tow belt is still in great shape and my typical go to when I wear something that needs a brown belt. I like the hole spacing better than any of my other belts. Bullhide belts mentioned above are great. Colonel Littleton makes good ones but they’re a unique style. Thebeltman.com can do you up just about anything you can dream (exotic leathers like stingray included). Mean Gene Leather is what I’m wearing at the moment (wearing a black belt today). Definitely the toughest belt I own, but I wear “gun” belts because even when I’m wearing dress casual I may still have to hook on a two way radio and a few other heavy doodads and monitors for work so the reinforcement helps. There’s as many customs belt makers out there as there are wallets. Maybe more. If what you like doesn’t exist it can me made. Martin Dingman gets recommendations itt but I’ve never owned one.
I have two Dingman belts. I wear the brown one almost everyday and it has held up really well. I also have a black one that I’ve had for several years. Highly recommend.
This I can see as a reason to wear an undershirt. Blue Oxford in the summer in Houston was a sweat stained mess if I had to go outside for 2 minutes.
